About Stivers School for the Arts
Stivers School for the Arts is a magnet school that provides a rigorous academic program for students. Stivers students select one area — such as band, choir, creative writing, dance, orchestra, piano, theatre, or visual arts — to concentrate their studies on. In addition to high-quality training in the arts, students have a variety of extracurricular activities to participate in. Stivers has consistently been named one of the United State’s top-performing schools by U.S. News & World Report. Student test scores continue to prove that involvement in the arts enhances academic performance. Currently, Stivers offers College Credit Plus, Career-Tech, and Advanced Placement (AP) courses. Stivers students are talented and high-achieving!

this place is an amazing school. honestly. i graduated, but it was a really good school and i don’t normally like going to school but the staff and fellow students made it fun.

Been going here since the 2019-2020 school year, my ninth grade year, and let me tell you, there's no shortage of great things to say about this school. From the teachers to their extensive magnets, this school is a top choice for talented students in Dayton. I cannot wait until I graduate next year!
