I wish the electronics were not priced so high considering they are untested but at least if something is broken you can return it for store credit. In the last 8 years I’ve found quite a few unbelievable treasures here. Thank you Oregon district goodwill :)”

“Big variety- I bought about $20 more of stuff than I needed. 🤣🤣 Went on a Saturday morning half an hour after open, so it was pretty empty and pleasant to browse without a crowd. Staff was helpful but not intrusive. They let you pick up your bulky items from the donation dock after checkout. Keep in mind you can't take the cards outside, and they don't do returns or refunds.”

“An actual thrift store in Dayton is a welcome sight. Unlike Village Discount Outlet or Valley Thrift, here you can find furniture and clothes for actually reasonable prices. No broken Amazon bookshelves priced higher than new, no flannels for $30 or used destroyed shoes for $40. Wow!”

“I recently visited the Goodwill located at 6868 Miller Ln, Dayton, OH 45414, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. As someone who typically prefers thrift stores over Goodwill, I approached this visit with low expectations, but I found a diverse selection of items that caught my eye. The store boasted an impressive array of clothing, including skirts, shorts, outerwear, and a variety of accessories like purses, scarves, hats, and jewelry. Additionally, I was delighted to see a range of household items, from mugs to stuffed animals, blankets and seasonal decorations. One aspect that stood out was the cleanliness and organization of the store. It felt well-maintained, making it easy to navigate through the aisles. The staff members were friendly and knowledgeable, which added to the positive atmosphere. However, I did find it slightly unprofessional to overhear staff discussing another team member openly; it created a bit of a distraction. Checkout was a breeze, thanks to Miss Vivian, who was quick and efficient. I appreciated her mentioning it was senior day, although it was a bit awkward since I did not qualify for the discount. I was also surprised to learn about their return policy, which offers store credit within seven days of purchase, but no cash refunds. Overall, while I didn't find a plethora of items that would compel me to return immediately, I would recommend this Goodwill location for its variety and cleanliness. It’s worth checking out if you’re in the area and looking for unique finds.”

However, I went in today and found a pair of American Eagle jeans that were located in the $5 jeans section so I'm thinking that they were going to be $5. I was super excited about it until the store associate changed the price to $10 at the checkout counter ?? I obviously passed on it but you guys get your stuff donated lmao I just don't understand”

I see a lot of comments complaining about price, with their color tags 1/2 and sales they have regularly it really isn’t hard to find items at a great price. “I arrived for delivery at 6:00 AM. My appointment window was from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM. The gate was closed when I arrived, but there are a few spots outside the gate for overnight truck parking. I tried to check in at 7:00 AM and it worked — they opened the gate and gave me a dock right away. Some pallets had shifted, but that was the shipper’s fault because the load was not stacked properly. I was completely unloaded by 9:15 AM. Overall, it was a positive experience. 05/13/25”
