First of all, we love Home Depot and they have always been very helpful. However they charge me twice the price I was quoted by Penske. So now I've had to go through all of this phone calls and trouble trying to get my money back. Let me also state that I have over a million miles of experience driving large trucks. Penske rented this truck to us through Home Depot. It drove horribly. It constantly pulled to the right and vibrated due to unbalanced tires I believe. It vibrated so much that you couldn't even read your phone on a cell phone mount because it shook so much. The truck was also super noisy. And didn't include a lot of the basic necessities such as power windows, a USB port or a way to stream music. We drove the truck 650 MI and I had to be on top of the steering wheel paying super close attention at all times. The truck had 95,000 miles on it and really needs to be turned into a City truck not a long haul mover. I have rented from Penske several times but I was very disappointed with Penske this time.

Paid a deposit for a trencher, come the day of the reservation I get an email saying they don't have the equipment in stock, 4 hours before I was supposed to pick it up. Now I have to reschedule the whole project, the morning of, and who knows if it will ever be in stock, since Home Depot apparently isn't keeping track. And I still need to wait 3-5 business days to get my deposit back, what is the point of paying a deposit if they don't hold the equipment?

I rented a Kubota mini backhoe when I got the job the battery was dead when I finished my first project and loaded it up it would not shut off and kept running I returned it to the store ( still running keys out)and was told that I would be notified what the adjustment to the bill or if it got fixxed. I only had it five of the twenty-four hours I paid for I also purchased the damage protection thank God, because everybody knows how easy it is to abuse key switch laugh out loud.I am forced to rent another piece of equipment additional $300 and reschedule the help that I had lined upHopefully they are going to be fair on crediting my card since I only got 25% of the usage. Videos available of removing the key and it still running at anybody's request.I do understand that there's problems with equipment life is not perfect but they should have located me a piece of equipment to use or at least got back with me this morning on the discount in my opinion.I did contact the store first because they did not contact me, before I wrote this post they said they would get back to me.

Terrible experience today! I ordered item at 9AM and was told it would be in “will call” within an hour. I went to store at 4:45 PM and item was not ready. They stated they really do not have a “will call” and I waited 35 minutes while they waited for someone to pull item. The lady manager at customer service desk was rather rude, defensive and not sympathetic to a customer my needs. When the item was finally brought up, I said so this took 35 minutes! Rude and racist the manager Bethany has no customer service experience whatsoever and should not be a manager at her age. After receiving no help from paint I asked for a manager and they proceeded to tell me I should go to a different store. I will not be going to Home Depot for anything anymore. After spending 500$ as well.

Only one clerk was wearing a mask. No social distancing, rude customers crowding and pushing..No customers were wearing masks. Clerk that was wearing a mask was asked, don't you all have to wear masks? Clerk response, not if it's uncomfortable or you have asthma! Tool rental didn't work, they gave us only a 50% refund because we had the tool the whole rental period. They acted like the 50% refund was a "favor". I did Home Depot a "favor" by closing my business account and credit card and switching to Lowes. Next time you wanna do a customer a "favor", give them their whole amount back for a botched rental.

I've never returned to any Home Depot store for 15yrs now, and all over $1.82. I had returned a few small screws without a receipt and was given a store credit for $1.82. I made a few new purchases that day for nearly $50. I know that you want to be a pet friendly store but you should consider the fact that not all of your customers appreciate being accosted by someone else's large dog. EPIC FAIL for not thinking about all of your customers and just the ones who have unruly animals. Also there are people who are allergic to dogs so you are making your store unfriendly to them.
