Purchased a 2005 Ford Ranger and had it shipped to South carolina. Asked if any problems they said it was perfect. Tires were dry rotted 2013 date code and muffler rotted wouldn't do anything for me

Stay away! We spent $3500 on a van. After leaving the lot, the check engine light came on. We’ve been dealing with them for almost a month and the issue has not been resolved, despite them having our van for a week and “fixing” the issue. The day after we picked it up, the problem continued. The transmission needs significant work if not replaced and I am unable to even get ahold of them now.

Great prices & even better customer service. Trimca Motors has done a huge 360 turn around in the last couple months, including a larger vehical selection and new salesmen that truly care and get the job done. 100% recommend asking for Michael or Camden!!

I could not be happier with my buying experience here! Josh was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and easy to work with. No pushy, underhanded sales tactics, no games, no trickery.. not the typical car buying experience in the best way possible! Got to look over the vehicle at my own pace, test drive it for as long as I needed. I knew everything I needed to before making my decision to buy, and I would definitely purchase from Trimca again. Thank you for the great buying experience and a great vehicle!

Trimca provided respectful, quality customer service that I appreciate, immensely. I was not "pushed" to buy a vehicle but was guided towards a purchase that was perfect for me. Since then, I have continued to have reliable work done on my vehicles and I will continue to choose them for my mechanical needs. Not only will I be a return customer for my next purchase, but I will continue to recommend them to family and friends. Thank you Josh and Chris!

I don't even know where to begin, so I'll just outline my experience.- The night I bought the car, the headlights didn't work. I had to drive the car home with the high beams on.- I was told the crease in the bottom of the front bumper was cosmetic. Found out there was a caved in radiator support which also busted an AC line.* When Josh says he "will take care of it," be aware this means he'll just try to get you the "best deal possible" and it does not mean he'll take care of the whole bill. I complied since technically I was screwed since these vehicles are sold as-is, but I did contact Josh about this issue 24 hours after I purchased the car and tried to remove the crease from the bumper.- I was told a full battery test was performed on the vehicle before it was purchased (Prius). The 12V battery was shot and I had to buy one.- I put another $1200 into the car just to make it safe to drive. Things that could have easily been discovered had it been inspected prior to selling to me.Those issue are my own fault. I should have completely checked the car over and never listened to the empty warrants of a used car salesman. Of course, all of these issues were attributed to someone else to avoid blame. Then the fun part.I bought the car January 5. After inquiring for 2 weeks about the title, I was told I would be able to pick it up February 23.That date came and went. Multiple texts went unanswered and I couldn't get a call back. I opened a claim with the Attorney General and it seemed to have gotten the ball rolling.I discovered that Trimca had just gotten the title in their name February 27 and it had a lien on it!Now, Josh has over a hundred reasons this was not his or Trimca's fault. It was par for the course with this dealership, every bad thing is always out of their control. But doesn't a business owner owe it to the customer that just spent thousands of dollars with them to communicate and let them know what is going on? I was respectful, I pleaded for information, and I was ghosted. It was unsettling really.I finally got the title over 60 days after purchasing the vehicle. It was blamed on COVID, snow, the mail...you name it, it was anybody else's fault. I know plenty of people that have purchased vehicles from reputable dealers in this time period and have not had these issues. All in all, this was my fault. I didn't check the car out well enough and relied on the dealership to sell well-vetted used cars. Moreover, I had a gut feeling about the dealership before I even went in, but I still bought a car. There are several other reviews speaking about time to getting the title. This is a case of a dealership with bad cash flow, it's that simple. I couldn't get my title until their loan was paid off.

Edited to add: We did buy the car from Iron Hogz as far as the title was through them, and we did pay through them. HOWEVER, the person who sold us the car was Josh. The person I was communicating with was Josh at Trimca. And the only person we ever talked to was Josh at Trimca. The offices are in the same place. The lot is the same. However yes, our money went to Iron Hogz.We were quoted $3200 from our mechanic because it needed a new transmission as well as catalytic converter. Josh said he could do it for $1100. But there was no way I was going to take it back to them after they cleared the codes, and even had our van with them for a week and told us they had fixed the problem. We bought a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan from these guys on March 13, 2021. The only light on was the TPMS which we were fine with. We were told it ran “smooth as butter” as one of the guys said. Not long after leaving the lot, the check engine light came on. We took it back and he told us they would take care of it for us. They kept our van for a week and we received no updates about it unless we reached out (which was VERY hard to do. And I had to call, FB messenger, and contact them through their website to get any response). We got our van back and they said they would send a copy of the work they did to it. (Still haven’t gotten it) After a full day, the check engine light came back on. I took it to AutoZone myself to check the codes. 6 codes came up all having to do with the transmission and I was told that I need to “Replace Transmission Assembly” I have reached out and been dealing with Trimca since the day I bought the van and have tried to allow them to fix this issue before updating my review. They seemed forthcoming and honest while we were there but please don’t let that fool you. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt but I have definitely learned my lesson with this place.
