The after hours drop off took forever. The code on the truck wouldn’t work. It was freezing cold and we had to call the help line. She did fine but it took forever. Not a good service

When I reserved my rental on the phone I was informed it was going to be 59 dollars, when I went to pick it up I was informed the price was now 160 dollars.

When I went to drop the vehicle off on 09/12/2024 @ approximately 12:24pm, I parked the truck in the 1st drop off bay, and walked inside. When I went inside a younger tall gentlemen asked how he could help me I told him I’m returning a truck and gave him the key to the truck. He told me thanks and that I’d receive an email about a half hour later with a receipt. I did not. I dropped the truck off at 12:24pm. I went to work after. My wife, who was putting our 4 month old child to sleep was called twice at 1:00pm and 1:26pm. The first time demanding me and that “Your husband still has the key to the truck.”
I called the location back after work shortly after 3:00pm. A woman answered the phone, I introduced myself and she got an attitude and said “oh yeah you. You have the key to your truck still.” I responded “I do not. I gave the key to a tall guy with brown hair he’s probably in his mid 20s”. She then said “uhh okay. Well he don’t have the key” I said “yes you do. I am on camera giving the key to a guy who was working on unloading boxes. A tall guy with brown hair” she said “okay well I guess we will go try to find it again.” And lastly I said “okay well if you need anything more I’m off work now and don’t live very far.” She said “okay.” And hung up.
This was terribly terribly rude and she harassed my wife. I returned the truck and key timely, and to the proper individuals. She did not need to call us and harass us, nor speak rudely to me when I called her back.
This made me so uncomfortable and unsafe even after the fact of returning the vehicle that I wouldn’t ever recommend this location to anyone at all- to rent or return.
I shouldn’t feel like I did something wrong or stole from the company just because the uhaul employees misplaced a key I returned.
As an owner of a local company, and a brand ambassador for a very well know Dayton company- this individual I spoke with on the phone shouldn’t be working with uhaul much longer. She’s made me, and my active duty army officer wife (2LT A. Brand) feel very unpleasant, unwelcome, unsafe, and worried we were in trouble.
I couldn’t believe it. I even cleaned the truck before I returned it…

The first location I went to was absolutely horrible. I was supposed to have my truck at 7. The location on Salem Ave across from Lowe’s is a horrible place that I’ll never go back to.
The manager at the one on third street made everything better for me!

I am very disappointed with this uhaul storage. I rented a storage unit and I had a problem after hours 5am-10pm. They have an "after hours help line". I called the number for over an hour because it was an emergency. They guy got back to me 8 hours later to tell me he was sleep during after hours? Why are you assigned for after hours help if you don't perform your job during after hours!? Makes no sense! Very unorganized and unprofessional. I don't recommend this unit. I talked to GM AJ Ross, that guy doesn't care about the customers at all

THE STORE CLERK IS PREJUDICE AGAINST MUSLIMS AT THE CINCINNATI GLEN CROSSING LOCATION WHERE I DROP THE RAGGEDY UHAUL TRUCK THAT I DROVE FROM DAYTON. THE ALIGNMENT WAS SO BAD I ALMOST HAD AN ACCIDENT TWICE. AS I WALKED IN THE CINCINNATI LOCATION THE STORE CLERK WAS MIMICKING MIDDLE EASTERN LANGUAGE AND LAUGHING DUE TO HIM READING MY NAME. I SUGGEST MY MUSLIM BROTHERS AND SISTERS BOYCOTT THIS UHAUL UNTIL CHANGES ARE MADE. NO ONE SHOULD BE TREATED THE WAY I WAS TREATED AT THIS FACILITY. OBVIOUSLY UHAUL DOESN'T TEACH ETIQUETTE TO THEIR PREJUDICE EMPLOYEES. REGARDLESS OF HOW THEY FEEL THEY ARE REPRESENTING UHAUL AND THAT'S WHO I PUT THE BLAME ON.ALLAHUMMA AMIN ?☪️☝️

AJ and his staff were very easy to work with. As I needed a longer hitch and new ball, AJ went inside and brought the correct sized hitch and new ball and got it working perfectly. This location had installed the entire mount a few years ago, so everything went together easily. Very professional, and this location had dozens of trailers and trucks. Great place to do business.

Can n the truck hade bugs in it was a mess when I returned the truck the guy that was dealing with mei told him n showed pictures of everything he seem like he did not care bout my concerns and he tried to charge me double the price n now I'm $-346.99 will not come back for my next moving needs

The new credit card policy is ridiculous. I've been a customer with them multiple times before and you'd think they would take that into account. Good job not capturing revenue in this high interest rate environment. That's exactly what it is for is to weed out the companies that make bad mgmt decisions like this. Hopefully a competitor captures some of their market share.

I was double charged even though I returned on time, the sales lady told me when I went in if I was turning my truck in to park it and leave it unlocked with the keys in it but then they check it in late and double charge, I’ll be getting a refund or contacting corporate
