I specifically went in the store today to purchase the Anastasia Beverly Hills new highlighter that just came out. I checked on the website and it says that it was available. I just have to go in to purchase it. I was not able to do order for pick up. I went in there was a person With a young lady she saw me she said is there anything I can help you and I asked her yes I was looking for the Anastasia Beverly Hills no highlighter she says oh we don’t have it anymore. I proceeded to ask her how come on the website it says that you guys do have it in store. She wants to reply to me and say oh, it’s probably in the back in one of the boxes. We just don’t have it out yet. To me that is not good customer service if your website indicates that you do have it available in store and I am able to drive to come and pick it up. Why would you not offered to go to the back to check, so you can bring it in the front and I can purchase it. Instead of you just saying oh it’s in probably one of the boxes in the back we just don’t have it out yet. Either all I go if that was to ever be the case they always said if you don’t mind, can you hold off and then I’ll go in the back and see if I can get it for you. And that is what customer service should be not be lazy and not put the effort into go into the back to grab it for a customer that was willing to pay to purchase it. Or would definitely be losing my business.

Went in yesterday. Fella asked me if he could help and he did. I think his name was Matthew. What and adorable soul. Help me color match my makeup since what i went in to purchase was no longer available from Tarte. I mean, I love Ulta but, when you get a helpful, knowledgeable, friendly staff…. It just takes a good experience and blasts ya to the moon. Thanks Ulta!

I really don’t know what’s going on with this location, but I’m not going to be returning here. I came to try and buy a couple of fragrances and makeup items I needed. Huge waste of time. There were just a select few testers out for fragrance and the fragrances themselves were very poorly stocked. The shelves looked bare and sad. I ended up just walking away from that section and circled around to makeup. Again, multiple items I needed were out of stock. There were hardly any employees in the store. I needed help finding a sharpener, but the only employee I saw was sitting in a chair in front of the prestige section with a giant box on her lap and on her phone. I just didn’t even bother. I grabbed a concealer I needed and didn’t browse anything else just so I could get out of there. I had to drive all the way to Sephora for fragrance, but I got what I needed and at least they had testers for everything…If you need to shop at a physical Ulta location, I would suggest going to the store in Beavercreek on Towne Drive or perhaps try Sephora at The Greene for fragrance needs. They always have testers available.

Cheyanne Harden at The Salon at Ulta Beauty at the Dayton Mall is fabulous!! My daughter is a repeat client and will continue coming back. My daughter always brings ideas and Cheyanne makes her hair-dreams a reality. Cheyanne is great at creating a unique and fresh look. She’s a fabulous designer and person!!

tried to stop here on my lunch hour to grab a couple things. I was waiting behind another girl who had a confusing situation with something involving returning an online order. I tried to wait but I only have so much time for lunch. Another girl came up to help the employee and a couple minutes went by. No one addressed me, thanked me for waiting, or told me they would be right with me. However the employee DID address another woman who walked up after me and immediately began helping her. I put my stuff down and left, and still no one said anything, they ignored me walking out the door. I’ve never been treated like this at an Ulta, and I don’t think I’ll ever go back to this location.

I came here to get prom makeup and hair done. I had an appointment at 11:30 and arrived about 10 minutes early, but didn’t get sat until 11:45. The person I originally had an appointment with already had a client so I was handed off to Cheyanne. I was not greeted by the first or told what was going on and I thought that was a bit rude but Cheyanne took care of me and was just so sweet. I eventually went to get makeup done by the person I was supposed to be getting everything done by, and she still didn’t really say anything to me until I got in the chair. I felt like I was a nuisance there and was definitely frustrated leaving. If you’re going here for anything, definitely schedule with Cheyanne. Other than that, I won’t be going back to Ulta for any services.
