Urban Krag Climbing Center is a unique climbing gym located in a repurposed church, featuring beautiful stained glass windows. The gym offers a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, with helpful staff and a strong sense of community among climbers. The climbing walls are regularly updated every 2-3 weeks, providing a variety of great routes that challenge climbers of all skill levels. While the gym's size may be modest, it packs a punch with creative bouldering problems and well-set routes. Visitors appreciate the friendly regulars who make it easy to connect and make new friends. However, some minor issues have been noted, such as the limited availability of belay tests, outdated bathrooms, and a few staff interactions that could be improved. Despite these drawbacks, many climbers enjoy their time at Urban Krag and plan to return, valuing the overall experience and the unique setting of climbing in an old church.
I'm new to climbing (3 months) and I really like it, staff is all nice and the routes change pretty often. It's clean and it's a nice and encouraging community. Owner seems nice enough to me.

Beautiful environment, great options for all skill levels and the staff and climbers are all friendly. Doesn't get any better. Owen was a huge help with getting me started my first time.

Has a good mix of bouldering and top rope routes. No auto belays here. Interesting building. Was originally a church. The restroom is very clean. Great experience
