Came in to rent a po box. The worker that waited on me was on her phone while waiting on me. Huh?? Realized when i got home i didn't get keys. Went back a few hours later and was given some dirty greasy keys they couldn t be bothered to at least wipe off and no apology. But you put more effort and care to put up decorations...

Unhelpful. When pursuing information about a package with a usps tracking number, information was not looked for in the system, after two weeks of not receiving a package that is clearly in the Dayton system, I was told to just continue to wait without looking up package or information. Will avoid this branch in the future.

If I could rate a zero for this post, I would do it. This is worst post office ever. I sent a package on the 03/10, it was supposed to arrive on the 14th but till now, it hasn’t arrived. Mind you, it’s priority I payed a lot of money for it. I even went back there to check in but the customer service, said she’s gonna talk to her manager but till now I have not heard anything from them. Y’all need to do better. If you can’t deliver something, be specific. This is frustrating me. Still waiting…..

Rude staff. Feel like you're putting them out just asking them to do their job. Lost package. Etc.
Not certain what's up with this post office but I don't like using this one.

The two gentlemen at the post office on Saturday 3/23 were no more helpful that a man on the moon. Neither of them knew how to mail a passport or take a photo leaving me to go to an ups for a picture and then returning to have my envelope mailed. I’m just hoping my passport renewal won’t be returned.

This USPS at 1111 E. 5th is actually open Saturday 9AM-2PM and they went above and beyond for me last Saturday. The two ladies in customer service took care of my general delivery parcels, they helped me forward my mail online (because USPS requires ID verification at the post office and the clerk to scan the barcode in the email they send for security/ID protection), and when I used my ID they noticed a minor clerical error in the address on my new Ohio license that I had forgotten to check at the BMV. Very efficient, professional, knowledgeable and kind USPS staff! The other customers in line were nice too even though it was busy. Great job, E. 5th Dayton USPS.
