I had originally called due to a package not being delivered in the appropriate spot that I requested on the delivery instructions of the informed delivery service they offer. The man from the post office that answered my complaint then decided to personally drive his own vehicle and deliver the package to my doorstep. Outstanding and excellent customer service. I appreciate the courtesy and resolve (: I can now see for my college classes on Tuesday! Thank you good sir.

Great staff; always get you in and out quickly, and they never close early.

While there is handicapped parking, the doors, are pull doors and do not have push button automatic doors. Hard for someone with a cane or walker, or in a wheelchair to open the door. The lady who waited on me was very nice and helpful.

Nothing but problematic and incredibly frustrating. In August and September of 2022, we had to be out of down for several weeks. Our house sitter failed to bring our mail in as instructed. So it built up in our mailbox. A letter carrier pulled it and apparently had our address listed vacant in the USPS's database. So ALL mail was returned to senders. We've made 4 personal visits (and multiple attempts to reach the Northridge Branch by phone, which they seldom answer) and were assured each and every time that the problem had been solved. It wasn't.Our mail was continuing to be returned to the senders. This caused us to be charged returned mail fees by our bank. We were forced to contact dozens of others senders to get new copies of donation reports, new debit cards because the originals were lost in this awful system, scrambling to find critical medications from our mail order that were tied up in transit, and a host of other serious problems.I finally contacted the USPS District Office in Cincinnati where a complaint report was taken.Within a couple of days, we received a handwritten note from one of our mail carriers explaining the problem was with the database that controls mail sorting. Magically, I also received a call from someone who identified himself as the branch manager saying that he personally was updating the database that very day.So, here we are months later, long after the database was supposedly corrected, and some of our mail is STILL being returned to the senders. Phone calls to the Northridge Branch are STILL not being answered. And, I'm not wasting gas driving over there again about this matter.I have another call into the District Office again. Apparently, the District Office now doesn't have enough staff to answer its phones as its automated system forced me to leave a message. In all the years I've dealt with the USPS, I have NEVER had such terrible service. And it's an organization that exists to provide service! When Louis De Joy was appointed Postmaster General, he made it clear he was going to dismantle the USPS. He came from the package delivery industry, and it's clear to me that he wants the USPS's services to be taken over by the private sector where profit is king. If this is any example of what his leadership means, then he's succeeding.

I like this Post Office. It feels like post offices that were around 30 or 40 years ago. A nice big Post Office, with a lot of mail boxes of differing sizes in it. Good customer service with a friendly smile. A nice big lobby and area for a lot of people to wait in when there's lotta customers like at Christmas time. The customer service here is pretty good. I've never had a problem at this Dayton, OH Post Office with customer service, but, stay away from the small one on North Main Street, I've had problems with people being rude to me there.

This place is a joke! For people who work during the week, the only time they can come or call is Saturday. It’s open for a reason!! I called the entire time they were open, no one once answered the phone. It just kept ringing for hours. I wouldn’t have had to worry about it if someone had called me back like I was told over a week ago. Either their phones are broke or they need new employees ?♀️

I can’t say enough about the staff at this location! During my son’s last deployment I worked at a company with a mailroom but this time that is not the case so I was trying to figure it all out on my own. This team not only helped me understand the rules but they did it with kindness. Thanks again to all of you for your efforts and smiles!

A lot of it is junk. They don’t get your mail to you. I think they do what they want when they want and how they want to your mail. The post master is great & tries to help, but the mail system is very flawed.

Service was knowledgeable. They just need 1 more person behind the counter.

The worst customer service i swear. Forget calling. If you can magically get threw the process of automated system they still wont answer the phone then god forbid you go inside upset about anything. Karen and ken run the counter and even if you dont swear at all stay nice but obviously upset they will panic and make you wait longer yet while they call the poor supervisor who apparently runs this place single handedly because no one else knows how to work with people and do their job so he does nothing with a apology and seems fed up with life in general. My delivery guys are nice guys. Ill say that but thats all this place has going for them.

I've gone there twice to on Saturday morning (with scheduled appointments) to get a pass port processed and the person want there. They have called off for the last 2 Saturdays without a courtesy call or email. This sucks.
