“A great museum! More than I expected. We went on Father's Day and they were offering paid rides in an old Packard. My husband and kids LOVED the ride. Staff is very friendly and know their history of cars. There's even a small quiet library with lots of information. The cars are absolutely beautiful and so many cool details. A must see museum if you are in Dayton.”

“Can't say enough great things about Brightside. Carli and crew do a phenomenal job. Their venue is modular, has multiples for a natural flow for all of a wedding days events, and the space is uniquely Dayton in it's feel everywhere. The staff worked so well with my partner and I and helped to make sure our day was nothing but perfect. They allow the process to be super modular, so no two events feel the same (which is why there is such a wide variety of events there!). And most importantly, Carli and her staff treated us with empathy and respect, which left us feeling seen and supported in a time that felt super tumoultuous to plan a queer wedding. We cannot thank Carli and all of her staff enough for making our day unforgettable, but it was made truly special because we chose to host it at Brightside. For that, we are eternally grateful. “We are so grateful for the help of our wedding coordinator, Judy. We were nervous about remotely planning a wedding in a city we didn't know - that changed after our first meeting with her! We could tell we were in good hands. She consistently went above and beyond to ensure our big day was everything we wanted.
TEC coordinated all the essentials for our event: linens, food, wait staff, bar staff, music, setup in the morning through cleaning at the end of the reception. Judy walked us through all the details and didn't miss a thing. She even made sure we discussed items beyond our TEC package, like flowers and photos, and was able to recommend some wonderful vendors for those services.
Things went perfectly the day of our wedding. All the staff was very friendly and professional. Aside from a brief huddle first thing in the morning, I was free to focus on getting ready with my bridal party. Everything was handled. It was really nice that us and our families were able to just enjoy the day. There's nothing about it I would change.

“We had a birthday party here for my two sons (8 and 6). The party was beyond our expectations and Dan was WONDERFUL! He was attentive to the kids, interactive and even had scavenger hunts and challenges to keep them entertained. Overall a great time and I would rebook again in a heartbeat.”

“We LOVE Busy Kids. My four year old has so much fun but goes through phases of being too scared to go into class (because there might be a new teacher and he does not like change). The teachers are always so wonderful and understanding while trying to help him feel more comfortable. The teachers are attentive and energetic. We had his 4th birthday party there as well and it was fantastic!! They really do take care of everything! Highly recommend!”

It is a great venue with great spaces that fit huge crowds. As a wedding couple you'll love it. As a wedding photographer, I wish I could shoot there more.
