These people junk cars without titles. I broke down on the side of the highway and somebody was nice enough to take me home. But the next morning they called a tow truck company and had them tow my car to West side auto where they jumped it. And gave the man $325 for my car without my knowledge. Or my permission. My car was stolen and now. There's nothing I can do because it's already shredded and I can't prove it's there but the tow truck company call me. And questioned me about my car because the driver of the tow truck realized the car belonged to his sister. I called Westside to question then I was told they don't buy cars without titles but Tony was there and he does tho then he changed what he said after I told him it was a stolen car and hung up on me

Haven't had the need to shop in the junkyard a little while but today I go inside and they were super awesome it was hot as hell but I was super glad that for them to help me out looking for a part for my Chevy Impala I appreciate that and them despite this weather being a hot mess going out here to find car parts will be continuing my business with them.

BUYERS BEWARE:: Wow.. What a dysfunctional, disorganized crazy business.. Called & asked for a alternator for 09 escape, was told to bring my part in they just scrapped 1500 vehicles & would match it up.. Drove over 50 miles (1hr & 10mins) to get there & the lady looks it up on computer & said there is a 08 on the shelf & a 11 in the yard & we went & checked & it looked to be very water damaged, it was white & pitted.. (the 08 wont interchange so I went from 1500 possible options to 1) So I asked what happened to the 1500 scraps I was suppose to be coming to see?? She had no answer.. So I asked to speak to the guy who told me to bring it in so they could match it, she says thats my Dad & he works from home.. LOL.. No he dont work from home, he answers the phone at home & has no idea what hes doing.. The TV was up so high we couldnt even hear each other, he couldnt handle the issue & passed it off to his wife.. After listening to her go on & on & on about it we got no where which I expected as soon as she took over the call from her "I got this" horrible attitude from the get go.. Just keep in mind, used parts yards are like Dollar Generals, there is 1 on every block, some are nice & some are nasty in more than 1 way, some have good management & some dont.. This is 100% definitely 1 to avoid.. The guy who answered the phone needs a remote access computer or needs to let them answer the phone at the yard.. I will add for the record, the girl & guy at the yard was awesome.. Did what they were suppose to do & all they could do.. The owner on the other hand was a nice guy but was deceiving in his words by leading me on to think I had hundreds of options when I only had 1 & all he had to do was let her answer the phone or go remote to the yard.. The wife, well, I will just chuckle on that one.. My final take on this place is, dont call, go there & deal with the young lady, NOT the Dad & definitely not Mom, if she is there turn & leave.. Shes non negotiable.. Leave the parents out & it may be a pretty decent place..
