Rite-aid pharmacy closed in defiance Ohio so all prescriptions went to Walgreens .
I went to refill a prescription and they told me they couldn’t because they needed a direct order from the Dr. I asked how long it would take , they said an hour and they would let me know . A whole day went by with no answer, so I went back and now they said they couldn’t refill because they don’t honor my insurance. All they said was sorry for the confusion. What confusion? They should have told me that in the first place !
Really , now I’m delayed 2-3 days from my medication .
One person says one thing , the other says another. A simple phone call would have done the job . Very unprofessional!
Never coming back for anything!

Tried to order reprints but when I arrived the cashier said I needed a photographer's permission. I drove home to ask daughter-in-law and she sent me release over the phone. When I returned the rude cashier wanted it printed out. GRR why didn't she say that! I got my daughter-in-law to bring a release after 2 hrs but by this time I am in tears. Now we find out these were not taken by a professional but by camera!! The rude cashier and manager say well they looked professional. No apology or anything, Never in my life have I encountered mean people. Never again as I will go elsewhere!!!! This was in Defiance and the girl had her hair tied back and wore thick glasses. Steer clear of her because she needs an attitude adjustment.

"I recently visited Walgreens and received exceptional service from the cashier. They went above and beyond to explain the products I was purchasing, providing me with valuable information. The attention I received was outstanding, making my shopping experience even more enjoyable. Kudos to the Walgreens team for providing such great customer service!"

We are traveling and ordered photos for frames we bought as gifts. When we arrived to pick up our photo order (after the time they were guaranteee to be printed), the staff and manager were unprofessional. The manager was unconcerned. She also told me that she had no idea whether our photos would even still be printed at all. She was abrupt, officious and unapologetic in her approach, as if she should not he bothered by reasonable questions, like if the order would be printed by the end of the evening or the following day. As I was reasonably asking the manager about this, one of the staff unnecessarily joined the conversation and huffed at me in blatant annoyance "its a known issue!" It was not known to customers however. How would a customer know this?No email was sent. No phone call was made. And rather than apologizing, they were rude when I arrived to retrieve my order, and offered no suggestions to remedy the situation. We have been to several Walgreens stores, across at least three states and throughout OH, and have never been treated this way by Walgreens employees or encountered such a strange issue. I got the sense that this is commonplace for them however. In any case, I have worked in retail and Customer Service before, and was appalled at the way they treat customers as paid employees on the clock. This is not customer service. And it was not warranted. We cancelled the order and printed our photos elsewhere. I'm glad we didn't wait until the last minute, or we would have been in a bind, with the only people who could possibly help us being unduly rude to customers.

I went in yesterday to pick up an online picture order I placed and the system was down so I wasn't able to get my pictures. I honestly left happier then what I walked in just due how kind and apologetic the staff was. With the system being down you would think any regular employee would be very frustrated but they were very calm and professional!

Today was the final straw. The pharmacy is open until 6pm. Coming in at 5:45 and seeing two people just staring at me from the other side of the glass at the drive thru and refusing to answer me is terrible customer service. I’ll happily be moving our prescriptions to rite aid where this won’t be happening again.

This was my favorite pharmacy ever since they opened their doors. I've been one of their very first customers in the Defiance OH area. For many years they had Laura and BOBBY her coworker. Both of them were very nice and good ladies. Beautiful heart and hard working people. No one like them. Now days everyone else is just ignoring the customers or trying to be working on something else but they don't care if we are ringing the bell, they just keep ignoring us. Very rude and disrespectful people.

Before you get your COVID vaccine…. Read this!
My sister & I decided to go together to get our first dose of the COVID vaccine. After lots of research and tons of discussion, we decided Moderna was right for us. We made our way to the Defiance Walgreens because they allowed walk-ins. We filled out the paper work, stated we wanted Moderna multiple times, then took our seat to wait.
Nonye came to administer our vaccines. My sister went first and I went second. We were asked to wait 15 minutes before going home. We eagerly checked our vaccination cards to find that they said Pfizer. It was no mistake. After checking with Nonye, she indeed administer Pfizer to both my sister and I. She never took the time to check and stated that she administered Pfizer so often that it was just routine.
If you are planning to get your vaccine, don’t go to Walgreens. Double check your vaccine because these people administering are not reliable. This is my medical choice to get the vaccine, but this is unacceptable to make a mistake this important.

I used to like Walgreens. Last time I went they double charged me. I used debt. So I called. The first person said. We can't double charge. So I asked to talk to the manager. She said. That will be taken off in a couple days. I waited 4 days. Charge still there. I called again. The manager said talk to your bank it's on their end. Talked to the bank. They said no. Walgreens needs to take it off. By then I was furious. I called manager again. She said. That's what I said ( no no you didn't) Then was told it may take 2 weeks to clear this up. I am so done with Walgreens!
