I am and we are lucky, fortunate, blessed to have a real pro shop in Delaware. Specifically, a real pro in Dan Begley.
Anyone who rides any amount to stay fit knows this about Dan. He's known state wide.
For first timers, you've given yourself the opportunity with Dan and his staff as opposed to someone for whom bikes are part of the toy department assignment for the shift.
Notice your sense of it.

I've been shopping at Breakaway Cycling ever since I bought my first bike from Dan Negley, December 2003, a Trek 5200. Since then I have purchased a lot of bicycles, parts, accessories, and always go there for service and to get my questions answered. I cannot say enough great things about Dan and his team!

Awesome customer service. went for a repair to my kids bicycle and got it done quickly. The staffs were very knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend anyone looking for a good bike store.

Dan and the team are always amazing. We’ve been going to them for nearly 20 years and plan to do so for years to come. We went to pick up our new bike the other day right before closing, but they stayed after hours, gave us a great trade-in value for our old bike, installed a new seat, and made sure we were taken care of. Highly recommended!

Bent a rim on a 26 year old Jamis bike while on vacation 14 hours from home at Delaware State Park the week before Labor Day. The staff acquired a new rim and installed it (even with a full workload and schedule) just so I could enjoy at least couple days with my bike while at the park before heading back home. I would recommend this shop without any hesitation.
