I scheduled an appointment on 12/1/23 for Saturday 12/9/23 at 12:30 and they called me on Friday evening 12/8/23 to ask me to either come early morning or the appointment would be cancelled stating that they have 2 appointments scheduled tomorrow with a gap between them and their manager stated to cancel both of them if we don’t change appointment to an earlier time!!! Awful customer service, how are you keeping your doors open dismissing clients like this?

I have been banking there for twenty years and have always received the most friendly and competent service by tellers and bankers.

Opened a new account yesterday. I worked with Shelia and she was fantastic helping me open my account. I really love how easy the process is. The added credit monitoring and wealth planning is super helpful. I really needed a more local back to do business with and this was a great experience.

I went to the Delaware, Ohio branch for Chase bank this morning to cash a check from my deceased mother's estate for which I had a small estate affidavit that had been prepared, and filed by an attorney and signed off on by the judge so I could take it to my bank and cash the check. The teller consulted with two other staff in the bank and I was told I would have to open an estate account in order to cash the check. They said it was bank policy and they could not deposit the check in my Chase account. Since Mutual of Omaha could issue me a check in my name if I faxed the affidavit to them, I thought I would try another Chase bank as the attorney said it was" ridiculous that they would not deposit the check." Sure enough I called another branch, took my small estate affidavit in and they deposited the check in my bank account with no problem. They said they see the small estate affidavits frequently. He said that the affidavit should have been accepted since the check was under the $5000 limit after which I would have needed to open an estate account. Staff at the Delaware branch were NOT helpful and were rude to me. Even after I called them later and told them I had deposited the check at another branch as the paperwork was deemed to be correct, she again told me that I had not had the right paperwork prepared. A small estate affidavit IS the right paperwork for smaller amounts of inheritance to be processed. You can look that up on line! I will NOT return to this bank in the future for any important banking since they seem to lack knowledge, do not seek guidance for issues they are not familiar with in order to provide customers with correct information and lack customer service skills.

This staff will lose a 17-year Chase customer. Walked in to find 3 bored employees, including one wearing a suit at the desks where I have opened past accounts. No customers in sight. The suit would not help me, pointing that I have to talk to the tellers. Then the teller says no one will help me because I do not have an appointment. Since when, Chase? Are you serious? I have 6 Chase accounts and was trying to open a seventh. Not one Chase employee at this branch would lift a finger. I was the only customer there. I asked why they were making it so hard for a longtime Chase customer to open a new account. She replies again, only people with appointments for later dates will be helped. I will not have an appointment when I show up to close all my accounts either. Why would anyone put themselves through such a hassle to give a bank new business? If you're looking for a bank that will take care of you, you have been warned.

There is always a problem with this bank. The staff seems to take a special pride in not being able to do their job. I tried to make a cash deposit into my son's account there and they refused. I had to go back to my regular bank to complete the transaction. They said people always have problems with Chase, particularly this branch. My son is closing his account. This was the last straw.

I Have always had an extremely pleasant experience, from setting up my account when I moved to town to the occasional withdrawal or deposit inside. Everyone I have dealt with has been very fast and professional while making just the right amount of friendly small talk.

We went to a branch location to get help with our accounts, and the teller was really nice but we needed more detailed help then he could provide (since more people were arriving). When he tried to move us to someone else, who was not helping anyone, she just said she was too busy. So we unfortunately had to leave without getting the help we needed. It was just a bummer.

My wife and I have had a shared checking account for over 20 years. Opened our daughter her 1st checking account. Tried to activate the card but it wouldn't work. The clerk said my wife also needed to be there. Asked to speak to a banker. Stood for over 5 minutes while 2 of the 3 bankers sat talking about their vacations across cubicles so I left. Bank suggestions?

I paid off a credit card that I have been working on getting paid off. Well, I paid off the card and closed it. Surprise, surprise, they went ahead and charged me interest. Not cool. They didn't help me. I was told "well this is a big corporation" Really? I'm taking my business to a credit union where you're treated better.
