Whoever runs their fiber optic division needs to find a new job. Had fiber optic laid The middle of January. Was scheduled to have the line buried at 31 March no-show, No phone call, No rescheduling, Just want you to keep paying that invoice

I can't believe anybody would rate Consolidated less than five stars. When Harlem Township was hit by a tornado, we had power by 11:00 the next morning; AEP customers had to wait days in some areas of the township. When we were getting blips and interference, Consolidated came out, took one look at the line from the pole to our house, and replaced the whole line. If you compare our outages to others in the neighborhood on other providers, we have fewer outages than they do. AND, we now have the added bonus of high speed, reliable fiber internet! Reasonably priced and rarely goes out. And if you go to a Consolidated meeting, everybody is really nice!

We've battled with CE (Consolidated Electric) for >20 years. Weekly outages they don't show. They recently replace poles & meter to improve service yet we're here in the dark & medical equipment not working. There's no escalated que for medical needs. Been talking with Dan Amoto, Engineering Manager, over a decade. Really tried to be gracious but enough is ENOUGH.

Huge storms hit sunbury Ohio, many trees down, power lines hit and they had the power back on overnight within 3 hours, top notch response time and action

Can’t say enough how satisfied we are with Consolidated! Wonderful, qualified, and always friendly staff. When power goes out it is typically fixed quickly even in crazy weather. The rates are affordable and fair in my opinion, especially coming from Westerville utilities that were insanely outrageous!! Highly recommend! Thank you

I called this morning needing one question to be answered and Kimberly, Member Engagement Specialist went above and beyond by answering my question and providing me with additional resources and information. Thank you!

The worst company you could deal with for electric and Internet. Stay away. Extremely high prices and rude employees. Go somewhere else

Worst "provider" of electric out of all the places I have lived. I can remember more months where the power has gone out than I can where it hasn't. Pathetic.

When trenching my electrical line, they severed multiple field drainage tiles and didn't fix them, which caused flooding issues on my property. I eventually figured out what happened, but it cost me thousands to do so and fix the issues that they caused. They also refused to compensate me for the money that I spent to fix their mistakes.

It would of been really nice to know that we had a planned outage today. There’s nothing on your website and no way to tell but by calling or looking at the outage map. Consolidated has more outages than any other electric company I’ve ever used. Perhaps I should start filing PUCO complaints every time we have an outage and Consolidated fails to notify us. In fact that’s one of the first things I will do Monday morning if this isn’t resolved quickly.

The service might be reliable, but the staff are reliably AWFUL. I called into to ask for how to lower my electric bill. I've made this call a few times and received attitude each time. I've been yelled at by one of the guys from their field team who told me that it was my fault the bill was so high that I was using too much electric if I couldn't afford to pay my bill. Then today's call I got yelled at by this woman that when ever she answers I know I'm gonna get attitude. She started giving me attitude when I cut her off from giving a giant commercialized spiel about a program the COOP has for those that are delinquent in making payments. I rephrased my question to ask what I could do to lower my bill, if there was a program I could enroll into that would decrease the fee I pay. This lead to even more attitude and I gentle stated, I just simply was looking for any answer to my question and that I did not want to give her attitude, and I didn't understand why she was giving me attitude as she has an edge to her voice. This lead to a conversation of PIPP and HEAP and I had to hang up on her as she started telling me that this was the only option when they have never accepted a check sent from Community Action for these programs. I consistently get terrible customer service from this company and if there was a way to work with this company without having to speak to their staff I would want to stay with them, but I wish I could get electric and fiber service from another company than Consolidated COOP.

I've had the privilege of being a customer of consolidated for over 11 years. Always very acceptable service and sometimes even beyond my expectations. Most recently my meter was -not- sending daily readings; which was affecting their web reporting app that I monitor for my usage. The customer service rep took the time to explain to me (an engineer) what was happening in detail and why. She agreed to e-mail the actual numbers they had in a spreadsheet for my review and tracking by the end of the day. Then she went above and beyond to discover that this "glitch" had started in March and dispatched a service tech to reset the meter hoping that would clear the problem going forward. Now THAT is a business who loves their customers. Can't thank their whole team enough. Please keep it up. Thank you!
