I’ve gone to this salon a few times, Gina is amazing. She has real skill at styling haircuts to make you look and feel amazing!
I had an appointment scheduled for 12/31,
Unlike my previous experiences, I was spam texted and harassed by a person claiming to be Franco. Multiple text messages sent before 9am and after 9pm, which is against Ohio law, disrespects a persons time, and overall creates a poor impression for the customer. After confirming the appointment and requesting to not be contacted outside courtesy hours, Franco cancelled the appointment. Had he been patient, I would have responded to the first message by 9am same day as the appointment.
Franco, treat people the way you want to be treated. Respect their time and boundaries, and especially respect the law.

My fiancé and I were visiting from out of town and he needed a haircut before we attended the event we were in town for. We were kindly greeted as soon as we stepped inside. His haircut looked amazing and he was very happy with the result. The staff was so kind and welcoming to us. If we lived in this area, we would be frequent clients!

I work with Gina but I’ve also had Franco do my hair, and they are both very talented and always make my hair look fantastic!Both are funny and easy to talk to. They really care about the integrity of your hair and what is most suitable for your hair type and face, so much so that they are likely not going to do something to your hair that you are going to wind up hating because it isn’t well suited for you!I get compliments all the time on the health and shine and length of my hair. And I owe it to them for making sure not to damage my hair and cutting only the unhealthy hair off!Now that I have moved out of Delaware, I still drive to see them because it is worth it! First time going to this salon. Melanie was my stylist. I showed her a picture with the colors I wanted. She explained to me we could achieve the chunky highlights look I wanted but unable to those colors. I won't go into detail but she knew exactly what she was doing. I loved the color and the cut. I got compliments on my hair by someone else waiting for their appointment. Very happy and will definitely go back!

I had a shine bomb, cut, and style: the first photo was the result. I showed Gina the photo of my hair after my last cut/ style/ shine bomb in May (second photo, at an Aveda location in Virginia) and she assured me that she could achieve this. (I had to explain that this IS my hair in an unfiltered photo, and not a model/ edited photo as she first insisted.)She "followed what the previous stylist did" and cut my layers straight across leaving a blunt edge. She also proceeded to flat iron everything. I asked if I was going to leave with a blow-out look, and she said "absolutely."When she was finished, I asked if she was going to add texture or movement or anything else to the ends, or what else she was going to do to get the blow-out look she promised. I pointed to the picture of my previous hair again, and she got flustered, saying that she didn't realize I was asking for the style, not just the color (which was clear/shine only... there was no color.)She explained that she COULD NOT, in fact, do a blow-out because my "hair was dry now" and her shoulder could no longer tolerate round brushing/ blow drying. She took some more time to cut up my ends, taking off more than the 1" she had said she would take for this trim.To top off this experience, she commented on the tip I left her, asking if I was "supposed to be good at math" given my profession. (I left her more than 15%, because she tried to get the style she had originally promised - I'm not sure what else she expected considering that I was unsatisfied with the result.)To their credit, they were accommodating with scheduling once they found out I had to drive 1.5 hours to come to their salon.On the other hand, they do not perform all the Aveda salon experiences advertised (complimentary sensory rituals, etc.) They also quoted me a higher price for the shine bomb than originally said on the phone (twice the price.)Overall, I am disappointed with the service and professionalism I experienced.Services: Haircut

I've been going to Franco since the 80's. I moved away for several years and missed him terribly. I'm glad to be back in Delaware as a regular again. His talent and artistry no one compares! I would recommend this salon to anyone and everyone.

Shelby was fantastic! She listened to me and really heard what I was going for, then offered her professional opinion and advice and everything turned out wonderfully. I had been to another salon about six weeks ago and the color from them ended up being a bit too dark. Shelby listened to where I was trying to go with my hair color and cut and then made it happen. I love my hair now! The owner was there when I checked out and was super nice and friendly. I will be back!
