Large and interesting selection of native plants for very reasonable prices. Got my shrubs in the ground soon after purchase and they seemed perfectly healthy and well-formed.

My new favorite place! Josh from their site services department came out and gave me and my husband a full consultation about what we could plant in many areas of our yard. We've been doing the work ourselves based on his thorough advice, and just planted our first round of native plants! As many have said, the customer service is unmatched. We had SO much help when we went to shop. We can't wait to see how everything grows in. I added some photos of what our plants look like in our backyard. Thanks Scioto Gardens, we'll definitely see you soon for more!

I’m so excited for the expansion from 1.5 acres to 9 acres for this local Native Plant Nursery!!
Please please please stop buying your plants from the big chain stores that sell you plants from all over the world!
Plants have evolved to be where they are meant to be. All plants have a native eco region where they belong and support the life within that eco region that has also evolved to be there.
Please plant native in your yard and buy your plants from one of our local hidden gems, Scioto Gardens.
Demand your landscapers to use ONLY NATIVE PLANTS!

In Central Ohio, this nursery stands out when it comes to stocking plants that are native to Ohio. Please! We need more of this in the area! The selection they have left me feeling like a kid in a candy store. I just wanted to fill the whole car with plants -- and I did -- and still didn't break the bank! The staff there is super knowledgeable and can help you find the right plant for your soil / shade / water conditions.

I’ve bought hundreds of plants from Scioto Gardens over the years for work, my own yard, and my family’s yards! You get what you pay for, and the plants are always very high quality. I’m by no means a green thumb, but the plants I buy from here always grow and grow!
