This place is such a gem. I'm visiting from Dayton for First Friday and my friend said "we have GOT to go to this cheese shop" and boy am I glad we did. A huge assortment of gourmet cheeses and meats, some of which are imported. The gentleman behind the counter was VERY knowledgeable; he was able to help me get some incredible cheeses to take home just by me describing what I liked in a cheese. Amazing. If you're in Delaware for any reason, you simply must stop here. You will not regret it.

I can not say enough good things about this place. The selection is Wonderfull the people are so kind and knowledgeable. We drive there a couple times a year. I wish there were more unique small business like this instead of our big box stores.

The Greater Gouda in Delaware, Ohio, is an absolute gem! I initially walked in just to browse, but I was blown away by the incredible selection and unique offerings. This store has gourmet foods from around the world, with an emphasis on local favorites.
Terry, the wonderful lady behind the counter, made the experience even more special. She invited me to sample various olive oils, balsamic vinaigrettes, and pistachio spreads—each one was absolutely delicious. Her kindness and passion for gourmet goods were contagious, and she made me feel so welcome as we chatted about all the incredible items in the shop.
As I explored, I discovered something delightful at every turn. The wine selection was a particularly pleasant surprise, offering a wide variety of flavors. I couldn’t resist and left with two bottles!
If you’re searching for specialty ingredients or unique gifts for the holidays, The Greater Gouda has you covered. They offer everything from gourmet cheeses and chocolates to imported pastas (including gluten-free options), wines, olive oils, balsamics, and so much more. This store is a true treasure, and I can’t wait to visit again!

We worked with Terri and used The Greater Gouda for my husbans Celebration of Life Party at Meekers Venue. Terri was very easy to work with, met all my needs and made this difficult situation easier for me. The layout was amazing as was the food. Everyone asked where I had the food catered from. I would not hesitate to refer Terri/Greater Gouda for your catering needs.

We were going back to our car to drive back to our hotel and figure out where we were going to eat later on. Our last store we went into was The Greater Gouda. We were overwhelmed at the selection that was in front of us. After asking a couple of questions about our “likes” we were suggested a choice of cheese, salami, bread and wine. We sampled them and bought the ones we liked. And then came the basil balsamic oil! We did not go out for dinner that night. We had a great in-room dinner with the feast that we bought at The Greater Gouda. Thank you for your selections, suggestions, and being there before we got to our car! (We also went the morning after to buy some more of the same selection to take home with us.)

My best March finds...Omgoodness.This was ridiculously the best find...and theStilton Lemon Zest...woo wee phenomenal.The Challerhocker is pricey but worth every bit...(my new favorite). I found a fresh new cheese for my chicken salad on a bed of mixed greens ?...Wensleydale with Cranberry. My new speciality shop when going through Delaware, Ohio with Choffey's Coffee.
