“Only can say good things about this venue. The staff went above and beyond during the wedding to make sure it was set up and running correctly. Melissa, the manager, went above and beyond the entire time working with her. My now husband and I are part of the LGBTQ community and Melissa provided advice that made us feel supported. Melissa made sure that all details were planned and was easy to communicate with and responsive. Some venues are not inclusive or say they are but do not reflect that well but this venue reflects being an ally for the community. They are determined to send the message of what marriage is about which is LOVE. This is definitely a venue we will use in the future for other events. We are forever grateful for everyone at the venue.”

“We chose this venue for our wedding due to it being all inclusive - vendors for catering, florals, and and cake were already predetermined. The location is also gorgeous and has good indoor and outdoor options. However, it comes at a cost with upcharging and a 22% service charge on all items so we had to be strategic with our selections to not go over budget or use outside vendors to save money. The coordinators that come with the venue were nice but are difficult to get a hold of especially if you have an urgent need - no one seems to answer their phone during normal business hours and it takes at least 3 days to receive an email response. Additionally it was frustrating to not have things completed that we specifically requested at our meetings - during our reception, the wrong fire pit was lit (it was also frustrating to be charged for each individual fire pit), the fireplace in the veranda was not lit, and they saved the top tier of our cake even though we told them multiple times and had it listed on our order that we wanted it served. Overall we had a good experience with Brookshire but would recommend better communication and follow through on day of based on our selections.”
