“I took in my 2003 Ford Ranger that had a clutch pedal that would not fully release clutch at times. Silver creek Repair test drove truck for a few miles that showed no problem with clutch. I then drove it and confirmed that all was working fine. Silver creek did not charge me at all and I drove it home knowing I don’t need a $1300 clutch. Once home I checked on clutch cable that had some corrosion and lubricated with wd40 at corrosion part of cable.
Don’t know if this will help preventing any future cable problem cable sticking but I have to thank Silvercreek for their honesty by not putting in a clutch that was not needed. Silvercreek Repair needs to me complimented for their honesty and integrity!
