Super bad experience, I would never recommend this company at all. They don't care about you. The person in charge said he didn't know about our booking because he didn't work the day before. Unprofessional

I showed up to pick-up my reserved car, and I was told that there were no cars available and no ETA as to when more would be there. There was no apology or suggested next steps on how I could access a rental car from a different agency or location. I will never come back here and likely never use Avis given their poor support at the national level. My car also had a maintenance warning for my entire drive to Chicago once I was able to access a car (I called them back 2 hours later— they never reached out to let me know)

I called to Avis this morning, Toby was very professional and confirmed my reservation for my rental truck. Thank you Toby. Please don't go off the reviews some people take things to the next level and it's not necessary. Avis employee was very professional when I called.

Try to avoid this location, booked a van to take over relatives coming from overseas , when I reached at 10 AM, I was told no van. They said they would bring van from airport in an hr, waited until 12 PM. For call. No van. Extremely unreliable and not the folks you can trust. Avis service is gone from bad to worse now, I have been a preferred member since 2004 and have seen the degradation in service. This location is the worst, and customer service is at the lowest here.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION! We were scheduled to pick up our car at 8am. on a Friday and NOT A SOUL was there and the doors were locked. The hours were open at 7am. We tried calling all the AVIS numbers on the door and from google. We got nowhere and this was on a Friday. We ended up driving across town to a different location where we were able to get a car but not what we had originally rented. It almost ruined our entire trip. It also set us back several hours. There were others in the same boat as us with several other people waiting for the doors to open to rent cars and others trying to drop off rented cars. Everyone was trying to call the same numbers and got nowhere. What a JOKE this location is. NEVER EVER AGAIN.

Please do not rent from this location. We had a minivan booked months in advance, and show up the day after July 4th to an empty store. No one showed up for over an hour. We left and went to another Avis down the road that had an SUV. Choose another Avis location!

Worst owner ever (extremely rude and just mean)!!! Stay away from this location and I would even say Budget as they have a horrible system - be sure to ask for a case number right away. May God have mercy on your soul.

Well, this was one of the better rentals from Avis lately, as you can tell by my rating, that I've had a lot of issues with Avis. I reserved a premium SUV on the 5th for my work trip on the 10th. Got there at my reservation time of 730am and they informed me that my rental wasn't here and he would see when it would be there. Apparently they had no drivers to drive the vehicles over the weekend to the site and that it would be about an hour before it gets there. No good at all as i had work to get to. He offered up a Grand Cherokee which was okay, i just wanted to have more room for my passengers for the 6 hrs drive we needed to drive. The truck only had 9000 miles on it so there wasn't much chance of it being screwed up like my other avis rentals. Got in the car and it had 40 miles left until empty, my agreement didn't list fuel level so i had to walk back in and they told me some businesses have a contract to bring it back empty and they don't have a gas station. Superb. They wrote me up a new agreement with the gas empty and told me to bring it back empty again. I mean i could have brought it back full and you credit me, but instead it's gonna screw someone else over. During all this i paid my normal rate for this inconvenience, no discount or anything offered. Avis is the spirit airline of the rental world, i think it's time to move away from them.

Avis is horrible, I paid 271.75 for my rental and then they took another 301.00 out of my account, when I called they said they don’t show the 271.75 being taken out but yet it’s on my bank statement. Be cautious when renting from them.

An unfriendly location. The cars are good but the one who is at the location week day mornings is the most unfriendly. I don’t want to go all the way to the airport for my corporate rentals - will try the Bethel location.

Car malfunctioned after 3 days, they said they didn't have another car. Charged me for six days. Beware!! Horrible customer service in so many ways.

Weekends are the WORST. Try to avoid picking up a car at this location on the weekend if at all possible when Toby is not there. The past three times I have picked up a car on the weekend I have had to go back in because the car has been filthy. Last time Avis even tried to charge me for the damage to a car I only had for 2 minutes! After an hour + on the phone with them they finally reversed the charges. This past weekend I had made a reservation for Avis, found a cheaper rental on Budget, cancelled the Avis reservation, and was still charged for it. I have documentation to prove the reservation had been cancelled, but Avis wants a paper copy of my credit card statement?? Who has paper copies of credit card statements anymore?? Not worth the hour + of emails and phone calls I have had to make every time I have rented from them lately, especially for a $10. difference. I will just rent from Enterprise from now on.
