I inquired at a hand full of banks around Columbus including the bank I bank with about the PPP loan for my small business. Civista Bank was the only one that wanted to help. The other banks were too worried about the larger loans. Banks such as State Bank would ask if I was trying to borrow more than $50k. Just shows the discrimination and the lack of work ethic other banks have. Hell, you couldn't even get through to anyone at Huntington. I am in the works of transitioning my personal and business accounts over to Civista Bank because Civista Bank showed me that they will be there for the consumer.

It's been my bank for over 35 years. It does change names but the rates are good. They've helped me purchase a home. Their fees are low. And I've ALWAYS had great customer service. My only problem is they only have a couple of locations and both on the west side of Columbus but they mobile banking is awesome so that makes up for it a bit.
