I went to the Dublin location on 1/17/24 and was incredibly disappointed with the experience. I passed by at least five employees or had them walk by me, one of them even appeared to be a manager or a shift lead (brown hair, scruffy, glasses, wearing a cream sweater). Not a single employee checked on me or any of the other customers. They didn’t even look at me as I was trying to compare items on my phone and was trying to figure out the layout of the store. One associate went to the manager and complained that there were three associates standing up front doing nothing. The manager explained to the associate that he had to work on a large truck order. Could I have asked for help? Sure. But I’ve been in retail since 2012 and have been in leadership or management since 2014. I’ve always been of the mind that truck can wait when there are customers because the customer comes first. Let’s face it, without the customers you have no business. I get that you have a lot going on, but you need to treat your customers better. Needless to say I will never be back, I can spend my money elsewhere. I will say that Kyle W was actually very engaging and positive while he was checking me out. But to have the only positive experience happen at the register is really sad. Do better.

I got an osu crew neck that did not have a price tag on it. I stood around for about 10 minutes while the manager fiddled on her device and the cashier just stood around. They didn’t give me much info. Then all of a sudden the blond woman manager looks up and goes “are you gonna return it??” I go “I don’t plan on it…” and the cashier goes “you don’t plan on keeping it or returning it?” And I said, as plain and clear as I could “I like the sweatshirt. I want to keep it.” The workers were rude and disinterested. Maybe the manager should focus more on the customers than chasing the young tail around.

Mike Lombardi it's an OUTSTANDING Manager. He greets everyone at the front door and makes sure that you are pointed at the right direction. Always positive attitude, smiles at everyone. He's a Great example what a true leader should look like!

Outrageously expensive. Terrible selection of sporting goods and team clothes for being such a giant store. Found the exact same thing across the street for 1/2 the price. If you don't care about money, this place is for you.

I went to buy a Nike hoodie, price tag was $65. At the cash register shows $70. I asked the cashier the tags is $65, he said that is Nike suggested retail price, we are selling it for $70, true Dick’s move!

Fantastic service from start to finish. I have a Schwinn Ebike and had no idea where to turn for some questions related to my bike. I Went to dicks because I was considering getting a new one or trying to find out what was wrong with mine. I made my way up to the bike area where I met the most helpful person yet. Karl, who has a lot of electrical engineering background and is an avid bike rider him self was able to teach me a lot about my bike he even checked a few things for me without a charge. He told me about the tuneup I could get, and at that time, I didn't have the funds to get it, but because of the amazing customer service, I went back to get it and every employee I encountered on my way to and from was very pleasant and professional. Karl did a great job with my tune-up and even suggested some things I never thought of. If you need anything done with a bike, go see Karl!!! Also, if you take the elevator up to the bike area on the first floor, you can smell banana laffy taffy it smells so good!! Great store. Every time I go there, it's an amazing service. I came for football gear and they didn't have a big section like I was expecting. But overall, ok. I needed hardware for football helmets and they don't carry any of that. Not much selection of chin straps. They just had Under Armour chinatraps and chinstrap covers. I hope they will try to at more diversity in that section as far as price wise. And I got 3 belts for football pants. They didn't have any football pants. Just girdles with pads in them. And they had one shoulder pad each for each size. Not many of them had price tags on them. So it was hard to know how much the XS shoulder pads were. I think Dublin area doesn't put alit of focus on football gear. And there is a market for it. Whether it be visitors coming from all over the city or out of town. I hope they take that into account in the near future. I would like to come here for most of my stops. But I'm heading out east to another store that is better with the pricing and quantity of materials that I will need.

Mike D at the Dublin store went above and beyond to help us get our son fitted with a new set of golf clubs. He was knowledgeable, patient, answered our questions and was incredibly helpful. We went in overwhelmed and we left happy and confident in our purchase.

Three things stand out to me about this Dick's store location. 1. It is busy all the time. Any day of the week. Any time of day. 2. It is very clean and merchandise is always nicely arranged. 3. Online order pickup is great. They always have your order ready on time and you never have to wait long at the pick up desk. Considering how busy they are (see #1), I am always pleasantly surprised by this.

Wanted to give a shout out to Mike, the Jedi master working in the golf department. I have been around the golf world for quite a while and I’m not sure I’ve ever met someone so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the game. I could have talked to him for hours (and tried). His customer service went above and beyond. Refreshing to see in this day and age. Went out of his way to do a last minute re-shaft of a broken iron before a big holiday scramble.Definitely going to be back to do a proper club fitting with him. Would absolutely recommend going through Mike for any golf equipment needs or questions.

We just had great experience at the bike shop on the 2nd floor in Dick’s. Tristan was so nice and helpful. I can’t imagine better services! We’ve been very happy with others like Bob as well, who knows everything about pickleball. :) Nice services makes a huge difference.

The golf pro/club fitter here was very knowledgeable. His name is Mike. He did a full iron fitting with me. He answered all my questions, he was kind, he didn’t make me feel d**** he gave me plenty of time, and he compiled the data and explained it to me in a way I could understand. Highly recommended!
