I have purchased six Honda's over the course of my lifetime, and my most recent purchase from Germain Honda could not have been more disappointing. I was trading in a 2018 Accord and was told that they could not offer me anywhere near "book value" because the car had an open recall (parts were not available) and dealerships could not sell a car with an open recall which would require that they hold the vehicle for an extended period of time (2-3 months) until parts became available. I was therefore surprised that the car was listed for sale 1 week later still with an open recall. I feel I was misled by the Sales Manager and and Sales person - this will certainly be may last purchase from Germain Honda. I contacted the dealer 2 times politely explaining my disappointment yet did not receive so much as a courtesy reply or email. Honda's are great vehicles - just don't buy one from Germain.

I have been to this service department three times now. The first 2 experiences were fine. The staff is personable. Yesterday, I took my 2019 Honda CRV in for routine service and asked for my key fob battery to be replaced and inquired about my cruise control option that stopped working after service was done at this garage approximately 6 months ago. I was told that the part needed to fix my cruise control was too expensive to make it worth replacing (I only have 29,600 miles on my car) and the key fob battery was not replaced. This dealership would not even take my car for a test drive to see what the issue was with the cruise control. They also would not give me a quote for the part that was deemed too expensive. Instead 2 different people sat in my car and “showed me how to use the cruise control” that I already know how to use. I called another Honda dealership in town and explained the cruise control issue and was told that the problem was likely a sensor or computer issue and if the part needed replaced it was a reasonable expense. I understand that a phone conversation with another dealership does not guarantee that there is not a larger issue but I was glad to have the service department at the other dealership listen and give me options. I will not be returning to the Germain Honda service department in the future.

Jen Hess was my car assistant in the service dept. . She was very professional, polite and very helpful getting me a rental car and communicating with me about my car.
She got my car in quickly for an oil and filter change today. She is very good at her job.

My car was in the body shop for approximately two weeks. Joey was my intake coordinator and informed me of everything that would be happening. Allie at the front desk was also remarkable and so helpful. When my car was returned, even though it was only a small dent, it looked fantastic. IF my car ever needs a body shop again - and I hope it doesn't - I will definitely bring it to Germain.

First time ever I paid a pricey dealer to fix my car starting from a negligible minor issue ending with more and more expensive repairs. This magic did happen at the Dublin Germain Honda dealer and cracked me up when I wrote it down like an interesting "mystery and ghost" story. Totally ruthless and shameless though for them to do this for a 7 month pregnant lady driving back and forth multiple times and undergoing the endless hassle with 90+ degree temperature outside.
The Honda Odyssey 2016 car is only 45k miles. It started with an "original" error code P0141 and Germain charged $500+ to fix it. immediately out of the door the engine warning light stubbornly popped back on with exactly the same "original" code. People made mistakes. Understandable. We sent it back. magic show started one day after another very quickly within one single week thereafter.
This time the dealer claimed to read a new code P0498 with a price tag, $700. The 2nd "ghost code" never ever showed up before or after the particular visit during any of our own readings. I complained to the general manager. It's kind of recommending unrelated pricy Lasik to fix your mouth ulcer issues. Magically they waived the additional charge immediately.
Anyway two days later I got the second fix. the original P0141 stayed there stubbornly and they recommended a 3rd fix of a 'mystery' PCM problem at $2000+. Surprisingly this time my code Reader found a brand new 3rd "mystery" error code P0118 after the visit, not only the original codes right before stepping into the store.
I am amazed by the magic price jumping from $500, $700, $2000 in a row within one single week and the puzzles of the stubborn "original" P0141, the 2nd "ghost" P0498 and the 3rd brand new "mystery" P0118.
Stay away from this dishonest and disgusting dealership unless you want to play endless games and let them break your car consistently using non-verifiable "mystery and ghost" reasons, of course with skyrocketing prices!

Shout out to Jen and Cole in the service department! I came in to order a replacement key fab. Mine was old, broken apart, and missing a tiny piece. Jen said “We’ll try to fix this one first”. One minute later it was fixed and back in my hands. ? I’ve always had great service here.

Just recently purchased a used car from Germain Honda of Dublin. Nishi Patel was my salesperson. He was a very busy person over Labor Day weekend but he worked really hard to find us a car we were satisfied with. During the negotiations there were a few things we needed done on the car for us to be completely satisfied. Three days after the sale, Nishi was reaching out to us to get the car in to complete his end of the sale. We are happy with the experience we had with this car purchase.
