I should have done this earlier but finally got around to it. This specific Hertz location excels in Professionalism and Customer Service! The current manager, Brandon and his team members have always been Extremely Professional and Courteous to me every time I rented there. Their Customer Service is Old School, A WARM SMILE AND GREET AND A THANK YOU at the end. Nothing fake, JUST REAL CUSTOMER SERVICE WHICH I TRULY APPRECIATE! THANKS TO ALL THE STAFF AT HERTZ-SAWMILL ROAD DUBLIN!!

I initially had a good experience at this Hertz location, the staff were polite and helpful during pickup and renewal. However, during my rental I first received a maintenance reminder on the car. When I brought this to the location, the staff told me it was just part of the service schedule, reset the reminder, and assured me there were no issues.
A few days later, while I was driving, the check engine light came on. I immediately reported this by email and later returned directly to the location. Despite promptly notifying Hertz and being told the issue was routine maintenance, I was later contacted with a damage claim for dents and chipped paint that I did not cause.
I even provided photos I took at the start of my rental that clearly show the damage was pre-existing, with time, date, and location information. Yet I’m still being pushed on a claim that is unfair and not my responsibility.
It’s very disappointing that what started as a positive experience turned into a stressful and frustrating process. My advice to future renters: document everything with photos/videos at pickup and drop-off, and get written confirmation from staff.
** This Hertz location does not even deserve 1 star. **

DO NOT leave without doing a full vehicle inspection with a staff person present - no matter how long it takes. And take photos and pics yourself and when you return. The first time i dont, I'm being held responsible for damages. Also, pay special attention if a car just came in - like mines did. I take responsibility for not following my standards when renting.

Two issues. We rented a 2025 Toyota Corolla and about 3 hours into our drive we realized that not just the front USB but none of the USB’s nor the cigarette charger worked. This is scary being in a different city and state driving in the middle of the night. We use our phones for directions and they all were about to die. This particular Hertz location closed at 5:00pm and closed on the weekends, therefore we couldn’t get an exchange car. Things happened so we planned accordingly on our return trip. 2nd issue, My car was due back at 5:00pm. I arrived at 5:07pm. There is no drop off. I tried calling the number typed on a word document taped to the door, it was a struggle as the number is covered by the wording on the door. Once I figured out the number, I called and it went straight to voicemail, I left a message. No return call. I returned the car the next morning at 8:30 am. I explained to both associates and manager that the car needs to be looked at due to our struggle with the USB charging not working. I also explained to Kim the manager that I was here the night before at 5:07pm. She explained she was here but locked the doors at 5:01pm.
My suggestions, if a car is due back at 5:00pm, the office should not be closing at 5:01pm, or reservations should not be accepted until 5:00pm. The cutoff should be 4:30pm. If this is the case how about let your customers know that ahead a time to avoid being charged an extra day.
I paid for full service for a car and didn’t get full service with none of the USB’s working, Kim should have made sure I was not charged an extra day.
This is not good customer service and I would not recommend renting from this location. I didn’t even get a bye have a great day or anything as I exited. Just terrible.

I rented a vehicle from here and it was the worst rental experience I’ve ever had. The rental was a couple days past due, I was meaning to call and extend it but I was dealing with some private matters and the manager reported the vehicle stolen and had it repossessed. I went to the office to pick up my belongings that were left in the vehicle and someone had stolen or negligently thrown my valuables away. When I attempted to speak to the manager, Carol about it, she was just nasty. Carol tried to dismiss my experience, and was very argumentative. I have never encountered a manager with such a poor, couldn’t-care-less attitude. She clearly doesn’t want to do her job. She’s a lazy, incompetent, poor excuse for a “manager”. Do better, Hertz. Carol was as rude as could be, and is obviously not trying to help resolve anything. There was no apology or any hint of empathy. I’m disgusted with Carol. If the owner or another manager sees this review, please reach out to me. I’ve been trying to get this issue resolved for weeks now. Do not rent here for any reason! This is a bottom-of-the-barrel company! Go to Enterprise instead. They’re very professional.

*edit to add the day after posting this my bank account was charged $62.18 I’m still trying to get it straightened out. USE THIS COMPANY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!!!!!!* It was a bad experience from the beginning. All their wires were cross and I was supposed to have the car delivered to me at the body shop. I wait for them for 20 mins then decide to call to figure out where they were, as I’m calling they called me on the other line to only ask if I still needed the car, they had no idea it was supposed to be delivered. What a joke that no one had their info straight finally got there to get the car about 45 mins after they were supposed to deliver it, the body shop had to shuttle me over. Then at the end of it these people had the audacity to charge me for being probably less than a quarter of a gallon under what they had it filled at when I got it. I filled the car up until the pump popped and stopped. Returned the car and had a pending change for $12.98 when I looked at the photos of when I got the car I realized it’s because I only filled it up to 478 miles and when I got t it had 490 miles in it. They charged me almost $13 for not over filling the tank. They sure they got me. I will never rent a car from this company or recommend them again. Absolutely ridiculous. Save your self some hassle and use enterprise rent a car!

Received the rental car. Not clean to say the least. The inside windows I doubt had ever been cleaned. Night driving was very hard.
Also, I did not know my insurance agency only gave just a few days for the rental. Instead of
Hertz calling the day I was supposed to return it they called the next day telling me it should have been returned the previous day. And of course they dinged me for it.
They didn't even pick up the rental until the day after I returned it. I should be charging them.

My car was in an accident & my insurance company (State Farm) told me they made me a reservation. I get there and they had never made the reservation. I was assured by the gentleman that helped me that there was no deed to work and he took care of it. He was so nice & helpful. I did not get his name but he was the only guy working Wednesday, 6/19, 11am.

I book a reservation for friday 5h they send me a comfirmation mail and once there (friday 5h03) the lady said sorry we are close
And as they are not open on weekend i did cancel my trip. Poor management.

Management straight up lied to me when I tried to return my car here (on a Friday at 4:40…I think they just wanted to leave) and made me drive 30 minutes to the airport to return. There are other locations not too far away, so yourself a favor and rent from there.
