This Meijer is OK but for some reason the employees can get rather petty here. I don't really want to blame them because that may be the manager getting on them. But like today, I got a thing of sushi and boots - both were heavily on sale. I was stopped by the older lady at the exit and she asked to look at my receipt (which I don't think they can actually legally make you do but whatever I know theft is a problem) she got really confused how I spent so little on the items and then pulled over another employee wasting everybody's time. I tried to explain that the shoes are half off the already clearance price. And it took them a minute to believe me. Pretty sure it even sit on the receipt what was going on. Why is that burden of proof on the customers? I'm clearly not trying to steal anything and I am cooperating, so save that effort for the people that are actually stealing stuff. That is a training problem the managers have, not my problem.

They never carry Homemade Brand Ice Cream. They stay out of most of the flavors, and when you ask anyone for help with seeing if they have in the back.. nobody seems to want to do it, or knows who handles it. I've literally went in there three times one week and three times another week... They never have it on the floor. Night time, day time, dosen't matter. I get a gallon of ice cream a night. I sit at home with no life.. Meijer dosen't understand about how bad some people need their ice cream. lol

Staff are friendly and helpful. Plenty of selection for products. Would consider this as the OG for the "Kroger Marketplace" type store, but I like it better. If they don't have the product you are looking for, there is at minimum some sort of substitute item. Prices are still competitive and comparable to other big box stores. I especially like the car section, the filters are consistently $4-8 dollars less than the auto part stores for an equal quality filter.

I would give zero Stars if possible. This location when checking out was incredibly horrific experience. The lady told me that I would not need to sign up and I would get the discount for the flyer ads then when I see them up it did not apply and I told that to her and she said oh it only counts if you sign up ahead of time at home. Additionally she said only I could get four on sale of the soups for $5 when there is no limit on the ad online or in paper and she said that's the only the four for five and you can only get four for that price. I could not get eight or 12 or 16 for that price. Very inconsiderate very not helpful very bad service. I will not be shopping at this location and do not recommend it if you care about customer service at all

Kassandra's smart ass attitude is really not needed for their easy job of self checkout. Rude. Eye rolling. Head shaking...?! All because the shopping cart stopped working in the doorway, as if it was my fault... 1/10 customer service from this individual, so don't bother self checkout employees, especially during the holiday hustle.

I'm not shopping here further until the security locks on the carts are removed. Don't need an automated system treating me like a thief when I'm trying to leave the store. Happens almost every time I shop here.

Still the best produce section of all local grocery stores, but also still the slowest/worst check out situation. That's really the reason I don't shop there more often. Checking out at Meijer almost always tests my patience and I'm not interested in driving the extra distance to Meijer (Kroger and Giant Eagle are closer to me) just so I can get stuck in a long check out line. I don't know why they have seemingly 50 checkout lanes when only 3 of them are ever open.

The only place to get groceries after 11 pm. They are open until midnight. Nice clean store.

Store was clean, groceries were fresh and reasonably priced. Self checkout was convenient and user-friendly.

I really like this store, I just hate having to hunt for the smaller carts half the time. Most of the time when I go, I prefer to use the smaller carts because maneuvering them has less strain on my back, but for some reason the carts by the groceries entrance rarely have these carts brought in. I usually have to walk to the opposite end to find one, or even go back out and look for one in the parking lot myself. Really my only complaint.

this meijer is usually pretty decent to shop at, but today was the worst experience i’ve had at any store. the worker that stands at self checkout was so incredibly rude, plus he always acts like anything anyone needs help with is a huge inconvenience to him. i was trying to buy some alcohol, but my ID had expired about a week ago, and it’s totally fine that i couldn’t get it and i understand the rules, but my boyfriend had a separate transaction and gave him his ID and the worker says, “yea i can sell this to you since you’re of age and actually have a valid ID” (btw i am also of age) while i was still standing next to him. i was there yesterday as well and he was very passive aggressive while helping us with a price issue. he has no business being that rude and acting so disrespectful when all i’ve ever seen him do is stand at self checkout and watch people.
