Went here to sell some top brand kids (barely used) clothing today- drove from Urbana thinking it would be a great location to sell to. From the moment I walked in I could tell they were annoyed that I wanted to sell. To begin, I brought 5, yes 5 bags full of clothes one by one into the store. There were three workers standing at the front who all managed to look at me but never once said hello- or mentioned that I needed to put the clothes in a tote (which I have plenty of) while watching me - by myself- carry those 5 heavy bags in. After I carried all of the bags in the manager rudely came over and slammed a tote in front of me and said “you can borrow this for today but you’re gonna have to fit what you can and take the rest back outside a we no longer do bags.. and we have too much clothing volume so now we are only taking one tote per person”… ok, fine. No worries - but why couldn’t that have been addressed before they watched me carry these bags one by one and set them down? Then, I politely agree and begin filling the tote. I placed some Nike shoes on top of the clothes and made sure they were pushed in enough so they wouldn’t fall - another employee comes over and grabs the tote, sets it back down and says “we’re not responsible if these shoes fall off and get lost you know that right?” I just said ok and went on. They then waited for me to finish the process to tell me it would be 12 days before they could even look at my tote and when it is done I have 24 hours to pick it up. Mind you, I live 1.5 hours away.. they clearly didn’t want my business. I ended up coming back an hour later and cancelling my sale. Never again. I have sold at the Beavercreek location many times and never been treated so rudely. Do better!!

I do like the store and the staff and the pricing overall.
I do not appreciate that my husband and I cannot access the same account/store credit.
I have all the required information.
We are married.
We live in the same house.
We have the same last name.
We have the same child.
Why am I not able to access OUR store credit without my husband's approval? I had my ID that shows the same address and last name. I am certainly able to sell our child's clothing and add to the store credit on the account.. but.. I am apparently not able to access said credit due to store policy as only one parent in a family can be responsible for a child?
That is just wrong. We will likely have to look at different options going forward and look to other stores.

Once Upon a Child in Dublin is such a gem! They always have a great selection of gently used kids’ clothes, toys, and gear — tons of choices in every size and season. The store is clean, well-organized, and easy to shop, which makes the whole experience stress-free. The employees are always friendly and helpful, and you can tell they really care about their customers. Definitely my go-to spot for quality items at a great price!

So I am way past due for this review. I want to give a large Huge shout out to Andre. He definitely is a hard worker and made my last visit there Amazing. I had an Old store credit in my wallet for almost a year and the numbers were off. Andre’s amazing talent to figure out what the numbers were so that I can get my store credit was a lifesaver. He deserves a raise for his patience, dedication and skill. I’m just very grateful. Thank you so much Andre. Hope you have a wonderful day.

I brought in some used clothes to sell. They wouldn’t accept them because they weren’t “in a tub”. My previous order was stored in a blue tub owned by the store. Even though the tub was now free, they wouldn’t let me use that. They are so picky when they give you so little for your clothes (and resell them at much higher prices).

Walked into the store and for the first time ever, I was not acknowledged, even to a point where another customer was assisted before I was although it was evident I was obviously in line patiently waiting. Never seen rge associates that were there today but only one stood out as a manager who set the tone, was rude and not personable. Such a waste stopping in today. 515 pm on Tuesday 2/18

Such a frustrating selling experience. I have no idea what they are looking for in buying clothes, as they pass on new with tags, designer, and clothes I have literally purchased from their store. It’s not worth your time to even try to sell here- go to a different consignment store or just donate. Expect $10-20 for a full basket of clothes if they decide they do want to buy.

I have so much to say, and I’m gonna try to fit this all in one. A few years ago, I had a bad experience with this location and I express that I feel They have a problem with Melanated people. If you are one of those do not come to this location see the only reason why I came back this time is because it was the closest and I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but I see. I am absolutely absolutely correct for one they do not even look at all of your stuff. They don’t even have the patience to look through everything because they be overwhelmed with how many items we brought in. Then they have the nerve to judge you don’t be a minority coming in here because they gonna treat you as such. Now I get, they don’t want people to bring bags so they suggest containers. They actually needed to tell me to bring a better container next time For safety reasons, now only thing that I can think of is maybe someone got scratched Because it’s not a brand new container, but I haven’t got scratched because I’m an adult and I know how to hold things Properly it must was a child handling my items. As hard as it is out here, people trying to give away stuff that they believe is still in good shape and profit off of it. Then for someone to criticize them because the basket isn’t brand new is Insane. This place is a joke. Do not bring a lot of stuff here they are not gonna check every last one of your items. There were items that I had to big for The store I agree. I didn’t know that, but I see however. I see absolutely nothing Wrong with these shirts, I’ll never come here again. I actually never will go to any of these once upon a Child. This location for sure they don’t do Black people and it’s Black people working there. I’m sure they get mistreated.

They will not answer the phone, and when someone did they hung up on me. Very distasteful I think once upon a child has run its course.

A while ago we went here to return something that didn't fit my sister. The same lady we saw exactly 3 days ago acted like she didn't just see us and told us in our faces "you can't return without receipts" so we searched until we found it. While we were getting the refund she kept staring at us and giving us attitude. The workers are fr found from the streets I do not recommend going here.
