“I Like & prefer these kinds of car washes where you hv total control and can scrub,wash,rinse & wax yourself! I hate the automatic car washes they never clean my vehicles EVER! The only thing I wish they had is a change machine it's so inconvenient if you run out of change from washing your car and you want to vacuum it out and then you're short on quarters but you have cash and no where to get more quarters so you hv to then leave and drive somewhere else that will be nice enough to let you buy some quarters??”
“I stopped by House of Wax to get the remnants of a decal removed from the sides of my truck. The place is a one-man operation, but he is quite helpful! When I arrived without an appointment, he was able to take about 15 minutes to get the decal residue off, even though he was doing an interior detail on another car. HW offers a wide range of services, from a car wash to full on interior and exterior detailing (or whatever else you need) - prices are online, but he's able to give you a quote for things that aren't on the list as well. Finding the place can be a little difficult - it doesn't stand out as a garage off of Cleveland Ave. It's actually attached to a corner shopping center, with a few parking spots in the front. You have to bring your car to the back for service, and it's a bit of a narrow alleyway. There are a few negatives - the first is that House of Wax does not take credit or debit cards. I was glad I had enough cash, but I had no idea until I was about to pay. The other is that for a wash or detail, you have to leave your car there. Since it's a one man operation, you have to find your own way back to home or work, no one can give you a short ride. A full interior and exterior detail is apparently a full-day operation, so you can't just wait around the way I did for my decal.”

“This is my go to car wash for manual washing.
It's ALWAYS clean, 3 bays and one automatic touchless. Cash can be exchanged for quarters via the machine and credit cards are also accepted. Gift cards are available and music plays in the bays as you wash. I also appreciate the $3 for 5 minutes if paid via cash and $5 for 10 minutes if paid by card.”

“Love that it's lit up 24hrs a day. Love that there's an automatic wash as well. However in my opinion the power washers could have more power. Only bad thing is the car freshener gadget hooked up by the sweepers. They need to be gone. Got a cherry smell for my car and it stunk for almost 3 weeks. I'll never do that again.”

“In my honest opinion,this place could use an update. However, everytime I have come here I have always had zero issue with any of the nozzles or hoses. I would like to point out a delay in the soap coming from the soap brush. Vacuums work well, the property is always maintained and free of garbage and debris. The coin machines have worked every time I have used them.”
