“I was there a parent volunteer for Thanksgiving event. Its was great. They had live band, there was so many different dessert and food, they were generous with the portions of food , friendly & warm, they were so welcoming to the community. It was really nice. This was my first event there. They did an awesome job. This event I'd rate it being equal to that of a community event of mentor but with a bit soul & love”

The basement is one of my husband's favorite sections, filled with all things random in a fill-a-bag style sale.

“We were there in 2018-19 . My husband needed 33 radiation treatments for thyroid cancer and we lived 3.5 hours away. We were very Blessed to be able to stay at such an inviting, accommodating and Beautiful place! No need for TV's in the room. Visit with others in the dining room. Share experiences, stories, ideas and hope! We have made many friends.
Although my husband has done well, his cancer cells have metastasized and needs 15 more treatments.
Once again, we are blessed to be able to enjoy Hope Lodge. We are on our way now.”

“It was nice to return to this little hidden gem after almost a decade. So much has changed but it makes for a great short hike and exploration. Love the added signage filled with information about the area and the surrounding nature.”
“This was such an amazing experience, I’m really greatful to the people who work here and helped us get a bike for my 10 year old! As someone who doesn’t know anything about cycling it was really intimidating trying to find a good bike that didn’t break the bank. It was the only place we went where we didn’t feel like they were hustling us for money. You can tell they are passionate about what they are doing. I wish I remeber the name of the older gentleman who helped us, but he’s the real deal and I’m so glad people like him are out there in our community helping people like me and spreading the joy of cycling and helping folks who don’t have a ton of extra money be able to enjoy the sport and pass it on to their kids. Thank you so much Ohio city bicycle co-op, you brought so much happiness to my son and my whole family! Highly recommend anyone looking to get into the sport or looking for your kids to stop in here, these guys are the best !”

It was a beautiful place for his last party he called it (everyone came to say goodbye) I made food and iced tea he really enjoyed himself that day. He passed a couple days later peacefully”

“Loiter is a gem! Had the most beautiful and delicious turmeric latte with an amazing veggie sandwich. Tried thier espresso too and it was the best I've had in a long time. I was even able to get some chcolate and a few gifts for my friend's birthday while I was there. Grateful to have Loiter in the neighborhood!”
