I come here often. Staff is always nice and helpful. But I do wish a better policy would be set in place for items that customers wish to purchase that doesn’t have a price tag. I understand and don’t mind the 24 hour hold but it’s unfortunate that I found an appliance that I wanted to purchase but myself nor the manager could find a price tag therefore I was told it would need to go back and be priced and to come back the following day. I called and came back twice in 3 days and the cooler has since been ticketed and purchased by someone else. I’ve worked in retail and understand the headache of holding items for customers but it sucks having found something I really liked and then having it priced and sold to someone else

Extremely bad prices. Why would I hunt for items that are more than market value when I can order it on eBay without the hassle of going inside their store?
For a thrift store that gets the vast majority of their donations for free, they should be much lower than "market value"
Please reconsider your pricing strategy.

Goodwill has completely gone downhill.
10-15 years ago you could walk into a goodwill and find deals. Now anything they consider of value is immediately sent to a warehouse and put on their equivalent of Ebay called ShopGoodwill. They completely took out any and all source of fun in coming to these places looking for deals on what is almost entirely donated goods. The only things left in their store is generic brand items and rejected items from their warehouse that either didn’t sell or is too damaged to put on shopgoodwill.

It’s a real bummer that the prices have gotten so high, they don’t have the color pricing anymore, and they keep the quality items behind the cashiers…not sure how you get to take a look at them before checking out. Recently I was in another state and went to their GWs…such better pricing, friendly employees, and they didn’t keep a bunch of stuff behind the counter. I lived shopping at those…then I come back here to this. Just a shame things need to be priced so high that were donated for free.

I go to this Goodwill from South Euclid, where I reside because of the quality level of the items and the price. To me, it’s the best Goodwill that I have been to in Cleveland.

I went to buy a used set of poker chips. Literally about half were missing. They refused to sell it to me bc there was no price tag. They didn't even try & price it or anything.

I’ve shopped here several times before and it was a decent experience. However, I recently called to ask if they could look and see if they have what I’m looking for real quick (black dress shoes in an uncommon size) because they are far from me. Whoever answered the phone immediately said “I’m gonna bank on no.” I asked if she could go over to the shoe area, and physically look. Which I figured would be easy. Look for a black dress shoe, look at the size, yes or no? Okay. Cool. It’s not like I told her to go look at every shoe. I was as specific and narrowed down as it could get. There’s no kinder word that can be used to describe her behavior other than just lazy. I work in customer service and I would never ask someone to do something I wouldn’t be willing to do for a customer in their position.

I found a super cute dress on the rack but it didn’t have a tag on it. They “hold it for 24 hours” and take no names or phone numbers. I wish they would at least take down a phone number to let you know it’s back on the floor. In this particular case I would have paid like a higher price if it meant I could have it since it was the first dress I actually felt cute in ever. I literally left the store crying.
I will try tomorrow to see if they actually put it out but I really doubt they do that.
Update: they don’t actually put it back put after the 24 hour hold it just get put back out whenever, if it gets put back out. So when you fall in love with an item that they forgot to price you’re out of luck.
The experience of getting to checkout to realize there was no tag, being told it’s put back out next day here for hours waiting for it looking for it to be told actually they just bring it out whenever is such a horrid experience and will never be back.
Also like 70% of clothing items are $6 AND UP. like they have gone up in price quite a bit.

Used to be an amazing store that you could find treasure in if you looked hard enough, after moving locations it seems like they don't let anything worth finding make it to the floor anymore. Great business model though of getting people to give them free stuff to sell at a premium!
