I went to Jerry for years I never had any issues with the work I had done at his shop the price was fair the work good he kept me updated on what was going on, what needed to be done how long the work would take I always got my car back within a reasonable amount of time and was charged whatever we had talked about over the phone if something changed or he found something else that needed to be fixed he always called before hand just to keep me updated and he new I had a limited income if it was too much some things just had to wait last week my coolant light came on so I turned around went home and I could see it was leaking in my driveway when I parked it eventually it stopped after it cooled down and the pressure reduced from sitting I couldn't get my car in anywhere to even get it looked at either they were booked for a couple weeks or because its a foreign car they didn't want to touch it, its a Volkswagen Tiguan nothing too crazy most cars are foreign these days anyway Josh's said I could bring it in the same day I thought finally something was going to go right but the next day around 2:30 they called and said it was the thermostat housing and it looked like a hose was weakened but they couldn't get to it until Monday, this was Tuesday oh and it was $900 for the work what was going to be expensive was the labor first off right now that is the only car we have my husband needs it for work second after I got it back I called around and everywhere else was going to charge me around $500 I was told by Josh's it would be 6 to 7 hours to do the job everywhere else said 3 and half hours the parts themselves aren't expensive I think $45 for the housing and $65 for the thermostat then I forget how much for the hoses, it didn't come out to $900 anyways my husband has a mechanic friend who said he could get to it Saturday come to us, do it in my husband's grandparents garage where they have everything they would need to do it so they get in and get the thermostat and housing and all the hoses that need to come off then I get a picture showing me the old and new housing they look the same, no cracks, nothing, maybe a little gunk on the old but that's it and then thermostat was fine come to find out it wasn't the thermostat or the housing and the hoses looked fine it was my flipping water pump, that could have been maybe $900 but it was never mentioned on the phone when they called and told me what was wrong with my car I don't know if they purposely didn't tell me or if they just didn't look at my car thoroughly or at all but now because I was told the wrong thing we are waiting because that was yesterday, a Saturday and it was too late to go buy one at any parts store and if we ordered it it still wouldn't be here until at least Monday I know that is what he told me was wrong with my car, I'm not a mechanic I didn't pull thermostat housing out of my rearend if that's how they are running things up there now that's a shame Jerry wouldn't have bold faced lied, at least I never had any issues with him lieing to me and I heard the rumors its a small town you can't help but hear them but I personally didn't have any problems before it was Josh's this was the first time I had gone there since before when it was still Jerry's its really disappointing and I can't recommend this place they know what they did and they know it was wrong and I know I'm not the only one I'm sure there are people that will go and not have any problems but I'm not one of them he turned getting my car fixed into an even bigger pain than it was to begin with

Jerry blamed me for the car over heating after I got it back from getting work on. He told my dad I must have been pushing the car excessively. All I did was drive to lakengren from the shop and didn’t go over 60 mph or push car anywhere close to what Jerry suggested to my dad. (The engine blew up), We later found the cooling fan didn’t get hooked back up. Do not trust this guy he will lie and not take credit for his mistakes.Service: Auto battery maintenance
