Red Mule Inn - Eaton, OH
501 East Main Street, EatonWe stopped in Eaton on our way to NW Indiana to visit family. We like to check out local places to eat when we travel and found the Red Mule during our Google search. The ratings were very good so we decided to give it a try. When we first walked in, we were very impressed. From the kindness of the locals to the sliding barn door, we loved everything about it. Then we ordered our food. We ordered the Taco Pizza. The server said it was really good. Upon getting the pizza, we tried to grab a piece off the tray and found that it was not cut and we had to pull it apart to eat. This caused all the toppings to fall off and created quite a mess. The pizza was also served on a piece of cardboard placed on a pizza tin. We couldn't figure out why the cardboard was under the pizza.
So, if it weren't for the pizza ordeal, we would have given this place a full 5 stars.
We really enjoyed watching the locals talk and joke with each other while we were there. The atmosphere was amazing too!
