On website said open until 9pm, we got there at 7pm and woman was not nice about telling us they were closing on 2 minutes. Frustrating.

I stopped into the one on Market Street in Elyria on Tuesday 25 February at 3:00 pm. I bought a St.Patty's wreath and a St. Patty's tablecloth. The sign said 40% off . I had no idea they were permanently closing. I got to the register nearest to the doors and the woman told me they learned on Monday about their closure. She was visibility upset. She rang up my items and my total was incorrect. I told her the total was wrong.. She got nasty eith me, She told me everything in the store is 20% off, I then replied , no that's not true. The items I got said 40% off. That was the reason I was going to purchase them. I told her I could show her the sign. She replied I don't have time. She said I'll just give you the 40% off. At! His point she was angry. I then paid and went over to the area and looked at the sign again. Yes it said 40% off of St. Patty's decor. I then went to her on my way out. I told her ma'am your sign did say 40% off so you know for future purchases. She said , ma'am I'm too busy. There was a long line of people..I get she was upset, but don't take it out on the customer.. I tried to call Joann fabrics on the phone like 4 times. 2x times I was placed on hold and the other 2x no one answered.. I now understand why they are going out of business. 🤷👎👎👎👎

If I could give it 0 stars, I would. I went in earlier this week to purchase some fabric. The lady working the fabric counter was extremely unprofessional, and judgmental. I was purchasing fabric to make a baby blanket for my son and she went on and on about how I shouldn’t be making a blanket for a baby. I very kindly told her I didn’t need her opinion and I just wanted my fabric. She apologized and started to cut the fabric and started back up again. I told her I knew the rules of safe sleep and not leaving babies unattended with blankets ect as this is my 3rd child. She wouldn’t stop. I ended up leaving and taking my business elsewhere. And I will not be back.
