June 1, 2024 I almost lost my dog due to the negligence and unprofessionalism of the staff at the Vetco Clinic.
During the appointment, a veterinary assistant restrained my 10 pound non-aggressive dog so tightly that my dog stopped breathing. None of the “professionals” at the clinic recognized my dog’s signs of distress until I called out that my dog’s tongue was plum/blue color. This level of restraint was entirely unnecessary and demonstrated a clear lack of proper training and awareness regarding the handling of small animals. The incident was not only traumatic for my pet but also for me as an owner. Additionally, there was an overall lack of empathy from the clinic staff.
To make matters worse, the clinic later submitted fraudulent paperwork that inaccurately documented the events of that day. This unethical behavior further eroded my trust in their practice and raised serious concerns about their integrity.
The health and safety of our pets should always come first, and unfortunately, this clinic failed in their duty of care in a profoundly distressing manner. I hope this review serves as a cautionary tale and prompts the clinic to reevaluate their practices to prevent future incidents.

I got to my appointment on time and they were ready for us. They treated my puppy very gentle and loving, and her injections were not a traumatic experience to her.

Gave us a package when we only wanted individual vaccines, gave a rabies shot when records were provided that he already had his rabies vaccine. $60 5 in1 shot turned into $160 real quick without approval.

They have the most caring, professional and KIND associates you could ask for!We're new to Ohio and my husband and I are always amazed as to what a great customer service we receive every time we go to get supplies for our three dogs.To all of you...THANK YOU!

Great for fish My son loves to go in a look at the fish. Tanks are always clean and lots of variety. Today we bought a few variety home to put in ours. The lady was very helpful and prices were reasonable.

Went in today to find my son a guinea pig for Christmas and got no service spoke to one of the associates and asked if I can see one of the live animals and was ignored him will not return to this location and the service was very very unprofessional.

I have always gone here to get my dog's nails done out of convenience. This morning I had my first ever bath and haircut appointment for my puppy, Henry. I showed up early and had to wait in the parking lot until the store opened at 9 am. Once I got there the store associates told us the groomer, Dana, had taken the day off. I completely understand that but we did not receive a phone call or an email. Instead I got a confirmation! I told the store associates this was a major inconvenience to me, because not only did my sister and I bring Henry for his appointment but we also brought our family dog Chase to get his nails cut as a walk in. They told us the other groomer would be there at 10 am but he was completely booked up for the day and there was no way he could fit in my dog, Henry, who was supposed to have an appointment at 9 am. I am very upset they could not arrange for my small puppy to still get his grooming appointment done, and we were not offered any form of compensation such as a coupon to come back! I do not plan on ever using Petco grooming services for my puppy, as I honestly trusted them for his first haircut and now he did not get anything. I'm now back to square one looking for somewhere to groom my puppy and very disappointed in Petco.

Love this place, it's an amazing petczar shop where you can get everything. I had a bunny, got stuff there, have cats, got stuff there, have fish, got stuff there, everything I need is there. It's like the walmart of pet shops. Can't beat it.

They have a wide selection of toys, treats and food. It's a nice place to bring your pup and so some socializing. But the prices are a bit high compared to what you can find online.
