I have to shout out Studio 828in Elyria. I haven’t had my hair cut for about 2 years and those who know me best understand why..
Today I took a chance on a young cosmetologist at a new location in Elyria. It was hands down the best experience I have had at a salon.
I gave her full control and did not look in the mirror once. When she turned the chair I was so emotional. The staff was incredible and they just jumped into my moment with me. I don’t think that I will ever be able to put into words the emotion that I had and they were just simply amazing!
The vibes in there are incredible and I’m fully confident that I have found a new salon!
Mia Hilko you totally killed it today! Thank you for not only the hair transformation but also for the talk. I just know that you are going to have an incredible career!

I like to lead with what is positive. Communication and booking my appointment was timely. The young lady that did my hair was their and ready at 8am on a Saturday. Even though they were in the middle of moving, the environment was comfortable and everyone was friendly. I had sent a picture of the style I wanted and was given a price of $240 which was fair for what I was asking to be done. I don't know if I should have shown the picture to the young lady to remind her of what I wanted but that's on me. The braids are good but nothing like the style I asked for and not worth $240. I uploaded the picture of how I wanted my hair braided and a pick of the braids that were done.

I received a silk press and Mia did a phenomenal job, the receptionist was also hospitable the entire staff was polite and they even send reminder text to remind you of when your appointment is. I recommend them I'm truly satisfied with the service I received that includes all the above and the promptness.
