I went to school here for 2 years to earn my associates and it was definitely worth the price. The price of education there was very affordable. Some of the instructors could use some improvement, but for the price they were good. Got to compete with their cross country team, which was great. If you ever get the chance, take a class with Coach Powers!

The employees/staff are disrespectful, can't seem to get some of the teachers to actually teach, they are too focused on their personal lives. Food isn't always good, beware of some of the workers, they (the younger guys) wouldn't serve you if you are overweight, gave me a hard time because "I'm too pretty to eat a lot, we're not going to serve you because we are helping you with your weight." As if it's bad enough that I don't eat much and for them to practically say to NOT eat because I'm too fat is inexcusable. If you are overweight or put on a few pounds, especially if you're a female, avoid the MARKETPLACE at all cost or at least stick up for yourself if you don't have any other options but to go there. The young female servers/cashiers have insane attitude problems, but yet in still, I'm the one with the problems. Security doesn't seem to be doing their jobs, using time they should be on the clock talking to random females "as friends" but tell me to pipe it down when I've been given a hard time in which they should be handling.

Just took an ISS class here. Their hard drives were antiquated cacheless drives and essentially made the class intolerable test of patience, let alone pointless as a teaching platform. Spent 7 labs waiting for windows updates to install solely because of drive speed being insufficient. Inexcusable. Computers boot normally with their lab drives, but the classroom drives that we switch to would need an additional 4+ minutes boot time. I would avoid this school, particularly if you're looking at tech. They've made a pretty campus with a bunch of police standing around doing nothing, but have junk hardware. If they can't figure out where to spend my money, I can.

Don't send your child to the Children's Learning Center. My son was 3, he had an accident and these lovely people treated him and I horribly and like he was a freak for having an accident. Also decided to send home the "accident" with his dirty clothes in a bag! Why the hell do i need the "accident" in the bag!? Rude. I should have went to someone about this but I was so embarrassed and upset at the situation I left and didn't come back. I couldn't even finish my classes bc of this.

Main cafeteria at LCCC. Very good food there (if the cooks that knows how to prepare food are there). It's starting to get even more expensive compared to what is was a few years ago. It's not worth it at times.

I enjoyed my time here. Instructors were approachable, helpful, and passionate. Tutoring center is there for additional help. Lots of parking options, glad to hear they added more food options.

When it comes to community colleges LCCC is the best there is. Beautiful campus, beautiful state of the art library ( that also includes a branch of the Elyria Public Library) and some wonderful programs. It also has a early college program which gives first-generation students a chance to take both their college and high school classes right on the main campus. The university partnership programs are amazing. They give you the opportunity to earn a bachelor or master degree without leaving Lorain County. Thank you LCCC for helping me achieve my dreams. I couldn't have done it without your supportive and caring faculty and staff. GO COMMODORES!!!

As stated in an earlier review, this is the cafeteria here at LC. There's pizza, grill items, a salad bar, grab n' go, and cantina. The cantina which debuted this year, replacing the stir fry station. We also have specials throughout the week, like soup of the day and chef's choice.
