Terrible, terrible car dealership! I got a 2013 Nissan Sentra and not even 3 days later the transmission goes out. Asked for a different vehicle or even part of my money back and I got nothing. The employees here ask for your phone and write their own reviews so they look good. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP!

I bought a car last year from these guys…wow worst decision EVER! It was in the shop literally 4 times in less than a year! I will say thankfully I traded that said car in last week 🙏🏻 if you’re a day late…be ready for 16 phone calls a day! And only reason I was late in the end I was on a medical leave due to my pregnancy…and they asked why! Like wtf! Never again! Half the ppl you get at the call center you can’t even understand them at all! And they’re rude as hell!

Wish I could assign 0 stars. This place is such a SCAM! Went with a friend to purchase a car today because my friends doesn’t speak fluent English. I sat back and pretended I was just there as his ride so I could hear all the info before I stepped into the negotiations.
This place will take advantage of you if they think they can. They ran all kinds of paperwork before they would even discuss the price of the car. When I asked the price of the car I was told by the salesman that he didn’t know. The website also does not disclose prices.
We took the car for a test drive and seems okay but the low tire pressure light was on and the stereo Bluetooth would not operate. We asked about those things and were told the stereo was aftermarket by the previous owner so they couldn’t speak to that (so apparently they take any old used car and just turn around and sell it without bothering to see what operates and what doesn’t - all the while not disclosing any of that to the buyers) and that the tire pressure gauge sensor is faulty but the tire pressures are all fine. When I asked what are the tire pressures currently, they didn’t know. When I asked which of the 4 tires had the faulty sensor, they didn’t know.
The car was a 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport with 98,970 miles (it was over 99,000 when we test drove it). The finally came back at a price point of just over $18,000 … WHAT!??? I said to the salesman that I am showing comps online for almost $10,000 less then that. He said “well, that is their advertised price … you would have to see what they actually give you.” Any normal person knows you never walk out paying more than sticker price … you usually negotiate to less then sticker.
That was when they truly dropped the bomb on the situation and openly said to us that they significantly increased the base price of the car because the buyer was a high risk buyer. Now I understand and appreciate certain dealers being nice enough to work with low or no credit buyers but it is a high APR that is what high risk buyers usually end up having to stomach. It is ILLEGAL to increase your base pricing of your vehicles because someone is high risk. So a complaint is also being filed with the Federal Trade Commission so they can investigate these illegal business dealings.
I also mentioned that the comps we were finding said they had clean records and CarFax reports to back it up. He said they don’t have CarFax reports but that the car was free of accidents. I asked him how he knew that if he hadn’t seen a CarFax report. He said “well, I should clarify, it has had no major accidents.” So, he was admitting it had at least one accident and was trying to circumnavigate saying it and refused to provide a CarFax report.
We then said we were going to go elsewhere. As we stood up from the desk, the sales manager walked away and made a big deal to loudly crumple the paper with the offer on it as we walked out. As we walked out a family was also standing up to walk out and was trying to be told good luck going somewhere else. I told the family as we passed, were walking away too, these prices are ridiculous and there is better out there.
These people will take advantage of anyone they feel they can pull the wool over their eyes, it’s sickening … find another place to buy a car, these people are not worth it and certainly don’t care a damn about you - only your hard earned money that they know you don’t have a lot of (because let’s be honest, it is almost always the lower economic status people who tend to be the high risk drivers for one reason or another). I don’t care what type of credit you have, regardless you deserve to be treated with dignity and respect - but you won’t get that here!

Do not get a vehicle here if you’re intending on trading it in elsewhere! The new dealership I’m dealing with mailed You Drive a check over a month ago and my account is still open accruing late fees despite having proof that someone signed for it and proof of delivery is available. Expect to get phone calls 3x a day from clueless customer support on when you’re going to make a payment on a vehicle you no longer have. They will constantly tell you your account is in verification and won’t tell you anything else regarding the trade in unless you make a payment.
Edit: It took them approximately 3 months to stop calling me three times a day, each day of the week. I was in the process of getting a lawyer when I guess they decided they were going to cash the check. Don’t bother calling their complaint line, it’ll just direct you to incompetent customer support based in Texas. Do yourself a favor and don’t get a car here. I was young when I became a customer of theirs and had no financial literacy. They have in house financing with an average of 20 APR, so majority of your payment will not be going to the principal. Along with most of their cars being resold fleets with over 90,000 miles. Go to a real dealership with better rates and better customer service.

Richard at the Elyria location was awesome. He made me feel welcome and made the process smooth and easy. His manager even helped assist with getting me to numbers I was comfortable with. Richard and his team are extremely friendly and I can thank them enough. Hands down an amazing experience!! They will do anything to get you in a car………..BUT…… I am experiencing erratic shifting, car will be in drive and you go to accelerate and it will just rev up and won’t move then will slam into gear and go but jerky. So after 35 days after purchasing the transmission seems to be shot. My temp tag has not even expired.
I had emailed you drive for my paperwork because the never sent it and never received a response so I ended up calling to discuss everything and was told I would get an email with the paperwork and a call back the next morning….. never received a call so I had to drive 40 minutes just to speak with them and get the paperwork. Now I am responsible to get the car towed to the dealership (because they have no tow truck and don’t think you’ll get reimbursed for the tow…..they don’t do that either) so that service is able to determine if it is a powertrain issue and if it be covered under warranty, if it’s not then I’ll be responsible yet again to pay to have it towed back home and to repair it on my own while still paying on a car I can’t drive.
You Drive called me on the day of my due date saying I was pay due. How Is that? The day was not over I was still at work. Give people time to get off work. That goes to show it’s all about money, not them wanting help you as they claim. This place should be close for extremely poor practices.
I’ll be sure to update this review after service and corporate inspects the car and makes their decision if they will do what’s right.
Update: after the car was taken to You Drive the determined it’s the transmission and they will be covering the repairs. I have updated the stars from 1 to 4.
I’ll be sure to update this after getting the car back and seeing how it performs.
Update: Today I was suppose to pick up my car after having the transmission replaced. So, I called to confirm that I should still line up a ride to come pick up the car and was told the replacement transmission they installed is also bad and I’ll have to wait again for another transmission to be send from KY.

Terrible place!!! They took advantage of it being my first time financing a car and my situation and TOMMY knew I had a great job as a sous chef at the time so he took advantage and made an indirect contract and chose his own interest rate and also put a 3.24$ per dm EVERYDAY so I paid for over a year and started realizing that my amount just wasn't going down and when I did my own investigation it turns out that TOMMY screwed me over pretty bad Because I could afford it he kept saying and I wish I paid attention to the red flags all around me that day!!! They didn't let me choose my car and chose it for me and it turned out it was one of the best cars they had at the time and also had all of the owners GOLD CLUBS in the car as he was driving it daily. I was told I could get Mats out of another car if they had some but after purchasing the car and driving away I got absolutely no help like originally promised!!! I just hope someone reads this post and thinks twice about going there cuz now it's a year later and my car is worth 8k but I still owe over 18k and put 3k down n have paid almost 400 every month on top of full coverage which is ridiculous.
Do not go here if you don't have to. I wish I didn't because I'm still paying for this mistake and will continue to do so for a few years so if you don't want to waste money PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE THAT DONT PREY ON PEOPLE IN AN ALREADY DIFFICULT SITUATION!!!!

This is the WORST place to get a car. Yeah may be all great at first. But they sell lemons!!!!! Very disappointing and extremely disrespectful people. All they care about is making money and putting people in dangerous cars. They won’t fix things when the car is still under warranty. I have told all my friends and family to NEVER go to you drive!!!!! Everyone who is thinking go to an actual dealer ship or another by here pay here.

HORRIBLE place they want u to pay them yet you’re not allowed to work. I get back to back callls even after I tell them I’m working they do t give a shit. They talk over you and when I ask the guy if he knew that it was against the law for him to continuously call like he was he said yes and I said so you’re telling me on a recorded line you know it’s against the law he said I’m not worried about it so those are the kind of people they have running their their finance department. Don’t give a shit that my car was repossessed for no reason because I had given the lady through email my my information to take the payment out because we have been communicating through email gave it to her on Thursday. My car got repossessed on Tuesday because she never took the payment out they don’t wanna hear about that. My car is never even been detailed when I bought it. It was not detailed that was promised it would be detailed still this day not detailed Having issues with my transmission light. They want me to drop my car off for four days for it to get to for it to get for them just diagnose it but yet they want $200 a week for your car but they want your car for four days to diagnose it . They’re absolutely unreasonable and it’s just ridiculous. The phone calls you get.
