I usually get my prescriptions sent to this Kroger and the other day I went to pick some up. The pharmacy told it would be an hour before I could pick them up and I was fine with that. So I decided to walk around Kroger while I waited. So an hour and a half passed and I was walking around the clothing section talking on the phone. Next thing I know I'm being told by a security guard that I can't be in the section because I'm not buying anything. I told him I was just waiting for my prescriptions and then he implied that I was trying to steal clothes. Then after I left to go walk around a different part of the store he just stood there staring at me every time I walked anywhere near that section. I didn't appreciate how he handled the situation and I really didn't appreciate being messed with for Just walking while waiting for my prescriptions. Would not recommend sending your prescriptions here anymore, sadly.

Kroger advertises that all of their fruits and vegetables are fresh. They are not fresh!! Last time I was there, I picked up a green pepper and my finger through it became it was rotten. Three pkg. of strawberries had mold on them. My bag of carrots had four rotten carrots in it . Beware of buying the fruits and vegetables!

I went there at 5:30am cause there website says they are open at 5:00am.I went in thru the OPEN doors and after 10 minutes of shopping they threw me out of the store stating they don't open until 6:00am. While I was in the store during that 10 minutes I saw at least 30 employees and not one was wearing a mask. So much for food safety. At 6:00am I went back in and and wallah most employees had there mask on but not all of them, I shopped for an hour and still some employees did not have a mask on, I guess they kinda did, as a mask was around there neck and not on there face. Kroger's in Englewwod Ohio clearly didn't care if they were contaminating the food or not. Also spots in the store had spilled cola or water in several different aisles, when I advised several workers of the spills they said they would take care of it, but an hour of shopping the spills were still there. Also I found at least 4 food items that had been opened and half eaten and laying on the shelf's.Also there is a a Starbuck coffee in the store, I went up to the counter, there were no other customers in line, the girl behind the counter watched me walk up, then turned away and ignored me for a good 4 minutes, I left with no coffee. Bad, bad, bad service...Oh and I almost forgot, by the time I was ready to checkout, they only had one non self-service checkout line open where they scan and bag the food. I placed my items on the belt and I stood there for at least 5 minutes before an employee came over to check me out. Employees in this Kroger's seem to be really lazy and non caring about service or safety.

I like shopping here. But I have a major problem. Here is my most recent receipt. I was told that my change which could not be given would go to Kroger points. However, I did the math. I earned 126 points. I took away the alcohol (your company doesn't give points on that), and guess what? It came out to 126 dollars and a couple of cents. You see the discrepancy? If you aren't going to give change, then those cents should be given in equivalent points. In other words, if it's 126 points for 126 dollars and hour taking our change, that change in cents should be equal to 390 points. Equal value for change. Otherwise it's called THEFT.Until this is rectified, I cannot recommend anyone shopping here without paying with plastic. Because what I see here amounts to theft. Sure, it's a few cents from me, but how many others are affected? Be fair, apply points properly. This whole situation sucks, but stealing isn't the answer.

This store is not enforcing customers or employees to wear masks even though it has been mandated in our county. I asked two employees if masks were required after seeing several customers and several employees not wearing masks and their response was, "How are we supposed to enforce that?". Gee, maybe try enforcing it like Trader Joe's or any of the other thousands of businesses across the country are managing to do.

I have been shopping at Kroger for years. The Managers and Employees have always been nice, polite and helpful. I use the Clinic, Pharmacy and store. I have really been pleased how they have handled the pandemic. Fresh produce, meats, Dairy and canned goods almost completely stocked. The store is always clean. Employees helpful if you need them. They really deserve praise during this stressful time. Thank you!

Krogers is really busy and parking is a nightmare. Never a place very close and forget handicapped parking always full. Good produce for the most part. Nice Deli selection. Recently they are limiting brands. I have requested a product and never got it or a call saying if they can or they can't get it and that was a year ago.A product they did carry. The pharmacy is terrible. They are not up on Medicare rules and can't seem to figure out how to file some Medicare RX. Messed up my medicare bad, Pricing is high on a lot of things. Recently I got cranberries 2 for $5 at Krogers. Went to Walmart same thing same size 78 cents a bag. That is a big difference. I find that a lot anyplace from 50 cents to $2 more at Kroger than Walmart. Nice store lots of walking. It would be nicer if it was just a grocery and not a clothing store, pharmacy, and household goods store. Just Groceries. Management is not very helpful or kind. If you have an issue good luck in getting it corrected. Same with finding someone to help you find things in the store.

This Englewood Kroger has gone way downhill over the course of 2018. The selection is obviously reduced, the store is dirtier, the produce is of a lower quality, and the management has become rude. The days when Clint ran the store are gone. The recent store reorganization caters to the people who do mobile grocery shopping, rather than the traditional grocery shopper. The irony is that the grocery at Meijer in Englewood has gone up in quality and selection. I have actually found myself driving miles south to Whole Foods, where I'll pay more money, just to have a better grocery shopping experience than the Englewood Kroger.

Been shopping there for 35 years. Favorite grocery store anywhere I go. Always have several checkout lines open!

They have click list... Woot woot. Place your grocery order on line, schedule the pick up time. They bring pick and your groceries to your vehicle. I have had a few hiccups with this service. Missed totes, poor substitutions, but most of the time everything is just as ordered and ready when I arrive. They have a Kroger fuel station. Shop Kroger often and get fuel discounts. They have a pharmacy. It's quite busy. They do have a drive thru Rx. Also this location has a Little clinic for minor illnesses. My family of five have used it several times over the years. Kroger is more expensive then some. But my the quality and service balance it out most of the time. We visit this location for something twice a month on average.

Looking better with the new remodel, however they seem to be understaffed continuously. Very long lines (20 minutes+), not many baggers, and tend to be out of quite a few items. The Vandalia location is a bit of a drive, but I find myself going there more and getting back way sooner.

This store is usually crowded when I visit the store. Maybe we happen to visit that store during the busiest hours of the day. If you have children with you that need a visit to the bathroom you better check to see how clean it is. The staff that work at this Kroger have usually been kind. Beware of items that appear to be on sale because some times the sale prices may not ring up properly. Beware of sale by dates on some products, too. Kroger still has some very good products to offer. I will probably go there again if I am in that area.
