We are lucky to have some great Scout Lightline vendors. This one is among the most helpful. Help is a phone call away. Prices are competitive, and shipping is reasonable. The price of goods and shipping keeps climbing, but they are doing what they can to slow that down.

Bought two quarter panels from scoutparts.com who use this company to fulfill the order. Sss packed and freighted the items to me. When the panels came they were packed only in foam peanuts. After opening the crate , damage was obvious on both panels. No effort was made to pack them right . Calling multiple times asking for some new ones , I was told jp would have to access the damage. Maybe he should access the packing job on the front end . After waiting over a week and hearing nothing I finally got a hold of JP who was upset that I called close to his lunch time. He stated “we didn’t everything we could”. Actually you didn’t - because it only takes a few minutes to pack things correctly. He basically then hung up on me . I called back , and the receptionist basically echoed the same sentiment. Saying Scoutparts doesn’t stand behind their orders. That LOL when SSS is the one that messed up. Here’s the bottom line , and it’s a lesson I was taught at age 10. If you are going to do something , do it the right way the first time . Don’t skimp on packing sheet metal. It damages easily . Not sure who owns this place but I might check in with some of these folks and make sure they understand the importance of Customer satisfaction. It appears to me you have a culture problem. I would never put my customer through this for a mistake I was responsible for . If you want to be mad- find the guy who didn’t pack the panels the right way. There’s a sign in their shop that says “the customer is the final inspector” . Please let me know how that plays into the response I’m getting ?

I visited the International Scout museum inside Super Scout. It was interesting to see all the different types of scouts. They also have t-shirts and stickers. The staff was friendly too.

A few years ago, we restored a 1979 International Scout II. Many of the parts came from Super Scout Specialists. They were a great source and very efficient in getting the parts sent out.
