βI would give this place a 10 if I could but a 5 will have to do. The staff here was hand picked by God himself. They are so kind and understanding. It’s a home away from home. This place is a community where everyone speaks and really get along. You think about the people here from all over the world and the common denominator is CANCER. We were there for 45 days and they made our stay wonderful. I can’t say enough about this place. Lord bless each and everyone involved. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. God bless you all.β

The basement is one of my husband's favorite sections, filled with all things random in a fill-a-bag style sale.
Wish they were open later, but I guess it just makes the times I'm able to go more special. ββββββ
βItβs such a nice feeling to be a part of what the kidsβ book bank is doing. My son and I volunteer at the book bank together (nice way to spend quality time with your teen, by the way) and really appreciate their mission.β

βMy daughter has been going here for over 3 years and I have seen amazing improvements. She has increased her reading and math scores. She has earned Merit Roll for these last 3 years and I am so pleased about her confidence level. The tutors are phenomenal!!!! I am so grateful for the support of this organization.β
βI HIGHLY recommend sending your children here. It is a great place to learn and have fun. You child can explore the activities they offer while knowing they will be safe.β
βIt was nice to return to this little hidden gem after almost a decade. So much has changed but it makes for a great short hike and exploration. Love the added signage filled with information about the area and the surrounding nature.β
βA great place to volunteer with small to large groups. There services are a sense of care for family members who might not otherwise be able to stay with there loved ones while they receive there medical treatment.β
βI have learned so much about having my own business from being a part of ECDI. The classes are fantastic, very detailed and informative. The teachers/facilitators are well trained, approachable, full of information -- and very encouraging. I would highly recommend ECDI for any serious entrepreneur.β
βNeighborhood pets is such a great place! When I took my dog in for care they were compassionate, very helpful with resources. I would recommend them for any pet🐾💖β
βWonderfully affordable housing for qualifying seniors. The grounds are gorgeous! Residents have the opportunity to plant their own gardens; either in-ground or more accessible (3-ft high?) raised beds. They schedule many other delightful activities for residents. It's a great community!β
βHad an amazing experience there, the Apt was comfortable and taken care of, fridge and cabinets were full, you guys made our Cleveland clinic stay so much easier for us!β
βLoiter is a gem! Had the most beautiful and delicious turmeric latte with an amazing veggie sandwich. Tried thier espresso too and it was the best I've had in a long time. I was even able to get some chcolate and a few gifts for my friend's birthday while I was there. Grateful to have Loiter in the neighborhood!β
βThe security officer at the gated parking area was very helpful and upbeat, he began and ended the experience on a good note. The facility is beautiful and everyone there was very helpful and friendly.β
βA wonderful place with people with beautiful hearts. Today Crystal helped me pick out a beautiful wig. My hubby came with me. We had a fun time with lots of laughs. And they have so many to choose from. If you're nervous about reaching out to them, don't be. They also have legal services like wills n power of attorney, cooking classes, a library and a relaxing garden. Support and virtual offering.β
βMyself and many of my family members have gotten loans from HFLA in tough times. I always appreciate how intentional and helpful they are. Especially as a black woman, itβs so reassuring to interact with an organization that truly makes me feel like I am worthy of help regardless of my skin tone. The lending world can be very discriminatory towards minorities and towards other marginalized identities, but not HFLA! I would recommend them to anyone.β

βThis was such an amazing opportunity for my daughter - an elementary public school teacher to pick up some fabulous art supplies for free. You have a half hour to fill up a shopping cart with all kinds of supplies - cleaning supplies.like hand soap and paper towels, and art materials such as paint brushes, crayons, tape etc. her students will be able to do lots of projects - thanks to this awesome place.β
