Poor customer service and appreciation was my most recent experience. Sad! I had to come out-of-pocket for parts that I didn't need and was only refunded $22 from a $150.00 purchase. Note, a $60 part wasn't even needed because it was already on my vehicle. Sad.

I had my car towed here because, I had a questionable charging problem . I was thinking maybe alternator, but turned out to be my 2 year old battery took a dump . They charged battery twice ,and checked voltage of battery,alternator . Rick was super helpful,and honest with my battery replacement. They are pretty booked up but squeezed my car in . I will definitely keep them as a shop I will take my car too when its beyond my mechanical capabilities.

I am pretty sure I have gotten almost every service available. Over 20 years they have affordability kept several of my high mileage dunpster fires on the road, including a Ford Ranger that made it to 364,000 miles. Great people. Accurate diagnosis and repair.

I really wanted to like this place, I try to support local businesses. I’ve taken three vehicles there, and on all three the repairs did not last. I had a car that needed a new exhaust, they said it didn’t need replaced they could sleeve it. Three months later it’s loud again. Most recently I took my old truck in due to leaking brake lines in two places. They gave it back “fixed”, and I drove it once and parked it for a week while I went out of town, came back and the fluid had all leaked out. It was leaking in the same spot as before, which they didn’t fix. When I called they tried to say that it hadn’t been leaking and this was a new leak. Now they want to charge me for labor to bleed the lines again, when if they had done it right to begin with I would only have had to pay for once. It holds fluid long enough to drive for a day, it’s a slow leak.
Seems like someone was only doing the minimum and hurrying to get a job done. Time for a new mechanic.

I love this shop. I have been coming since 2020 to get my used car repaired. For anyone curious its a jeep so obviously im here a lot, hell my jeeps there now. That being said I never doubt the work getting done on my car, so much so that I bring the rental trucks from my job at the Depot over to be serviced too. Ive probably refered about 4 or 5 people to come here for service they can trust. Matt and Dennis make me feel like no concern is tool small.

In this day and age it is nearly impossible to find an honest mechanic, but look no further as Platinum Auto is just that! I can not recommend this shop enough! Knowing they are looking out for the customer and not just trying to nickel and dime them is something I am massively thankful for.
I highly recommend bringing your vehicle in to this shop if you want honest, friendly service and reliable work.
11/10, I will ALWAYS bring my car in to these guys, even if I move out of the Euclid area.

After being disappointed by purchasing a used car from a very dishonest private seller, I went to Platinum Auto for the needed repairs.
Matt took care of all of the problems, while going above and beyond to try and keep the price affordable. His clear explanations and kind, reassuring attitude helped turn a bad situation into a satisfying experience, leaving my car in awesome shape. Thumbs up!

I've taken my car here several times now for various repairs, and I don't think I'll ever go anywhere else. They always call and let you know exactly what the problem is and what the price will be. They help to educate you so you can make an informed decision, and the prices are fair. No extra nickle and dime stuff going on, no taking advantage of your lack of expertise, if you're like me and know little about cars. They also guarantee their work and make sure you're aware of that before you take your car home. Excellent service, honest and trustworthy.
