Ordered a Christmas present online back in November and it was cancelled TWICE. Received no notification of the order being cancelled and no reason as to why it was cancelled. When calling the store, they cannot help with online orders whatsoever and when you call customer service, you sit on hold for over an hour to not be able to talk to someone either. We then called Evendale location as they were the only ones who had the item in stock and they were supposed to transfer the gift to the eastgate location 4 days ago and no one from Evendale or Eastgate can provide an update on this order. Also when I called Evendale, the lady I spoke with told Me she was too busy to look up anything to try to help me. Watch out ordering online and having items transferred to stores.

Been closing at 6p. When the hours say 8to 9pm. It sucks. Just horrible. Today 10/21/24
Sign on the door. That it will close every day at 7p. I can’t stand it anymore. Always it never fails.

Store is clean and organized-well stocked with quilting supplies. Apparel and other fabric are nice and tidy with bands around bolts (which prevents them from dragging ground etc). Staff was patient and helpful.

I want to give a shout out to the manager down at evendale. She was amazing and the cashier helping they both took the time to help me get what I needed and explain to me why I needed it. It saved me a bunch of trips and they've been amazing. I can't say enough good about them. I just want to thank him.

POV I was in a hurry and short on time.
I drove to the store from downtown because this store had a specific sewing machine in stock. I needed RIGHT NOW. When I got there, I explained my needs to Cindy, to get her opinion…who acted as a neutral party to the brands, but explained to me how another sewing machine might be a better fit for my scope of work, took the time to explain why while understanding this was not my forte.
The cashier helped me right away, and the checkout was a breeze. I don’t recall her name, but she was very sweet and cheery.
Everything Cindy told me about this machine was accurate. I threaded it and wound the bobbin in four minutes… My project is complete.
I don’t often write reviews, but this really made my day. People need to be recognized for true kindness knowledge, and positivity. I will drive further and deal with traffic if I know I’m going to get good service from kind, knowledgeable people. Thank you. ?

I called the Evendale branch to check and see if they carried the fabric I was looking for before making the 45 minute trek north to the store. The specific branch’s website said they carried it but I wanted to check. I called and the manager answered and after asking her to look, she said explicitly, “I’m very busy right now. I can take down your number and call you back later”. HUH??!! No, I’m sorry. The customer comes first no matter how ‘busy’ you are. I was so stunned. I politely asked if she could just quickly tell me if they had Tampa Bat Buccs fabric and I was immediately met with a “we don’t have it”. She didn’t even check. I am so displeased with the service of this place. How incredibly rude. I wish I had asked her name so I could formally complain. She sounded like an older woman and identified herself as the manager.

Been here a handful of times to get fabric cut and they always act like it’s an inconvenience to help you. I regularly hear them cussing about how they have to stop and get register or cut fabric. Better off driving to a further location

The real day job of the staff working here is probably auditioning for the boomer version of r/iamverybadass. They don’t follow company procedure and scoff if you don’t know their personal made-up rules. They feel the need to rush transactions, literally ignoring my wishes to check my joann’s number when there is literally no one in the store. To the two middle-aged ladies, genuinely shameful behavior. I had product recall, company policy, batch number, and evidence of joann’s purchase ready just to be met with an aspirant middle manger with fried hair. No I’m not a thief just because you’re a miserable liar.
