Aldi on Pleasant Avenue in Fairfield Ohio has a great location in the center of the city. Whoever came up with the idea of their 25cent cart deposit is a genius. Love the selection of produce, baked goods, dairy, canned goods, and their sale aisle.

Been Aldi customer for years and love them. But used curbside twice now and best friend picked up for me. (Broke ankle, house bound) Their service has been fast and a real blessing!

Tall girl employee was super unfriendly and acted annoyed when I asked for help. There’s almost never anyone around to help. Then she went on to tell me an item was limited quantity when there wasn’t a sign and said “that’s just how it is.” Ok. How should I know that if it’s true? Lol. Other employees weren’t aware of that “rule.”

Been going to Aldis,since they opened in the Cincinnati area, best value for your money. Most products are organic. Closest one is over 40 mile round trip. I used to go every week would stop after work,now retired, so don't go as often. It's a bare bones store,so don't expect it to be like a kroger super store. They are always clean. Management is always helpful,when needed. Workers are always friendly and fast check out. Most people don't know there meat is top notch. Cheese,great variety. Appleton farms meat is my favorite. Their hams are the best around. Just wish they had it more often, usually seasonal. Some prefer their honey hams,my favorite is the brown sugar,which is hard to find now,especially when they removed their dry pack coating. They switched to a liquid,do not like it. It's just okay. Last one I was in,the Fairfield store,great shopping experience. Try their package meals,in the refrigerator section,good quality,fast meals. Like them all.Benton cookies are also good and great value. Thanks Aldis.

Aldi has long been a favorite destination for savvy shoppers, and my recent experience at my local store reinforced why I continue to return. The combination of unbeatable deals and an impressive selection of specialty items makes my shopping trips worthwhile. I particularly love the array of unique products that Aldi is known for, whether it's seasonal treats or exclusive brands that you can’t find anywhere else. These specialties often provide a delightful surprise and elevate my grocery experience.
The staff at this Aldi location generally contribute positively to my shopping experience. Most of them are pleasant, efficient, and eager to assist, which makes a significant difference in the overall vibe of the store. However, I did encounter one staff member, a short blonde woman with glasses, whom I believe is in a management position seems to struggle under pressure. When I approached her for help, she came off as annoyed and argumentative, which detracted from my experience. It’s understandable that retail can be stressful, but a little extra patience and friendliness can go a long way in keeping the shopping environment welcoming.
Another area for improvement is the organization of the non-grocery section. The layout often feels chaotic, making it challenging to find pricing information or locate specific items. This disorganization can be a bit frustrating and can detract from the overall efficiency of shopping. Aldi usually excels at keeping things simple and streamlined, so it’s surprising to see this inconsistency.
Despite these challenges, I believe this Aldi location offers significantly more than many others in the area. The value you get for your money, especially with their specialty items, is hard to beat. With a little more attention to staff training and store organization, it could truly be a standout destination in grocery shopping. Overall, I remain a loyal Aldi shopper and look forward to my next visit, hoping for a smoother experience.

This store has the best produce selection of the local Aldi stores. It's always stocked and easybtonget through. Staff is friendly and always willing to help you with your needs. And the prices are exceptional!
