Paid ahead of time on line for my rental, when i arrived to pick up my rental they ran a credit check on my card & turned me down because my credit score is too low & then when i left they neglected to reimburse me the 240 dollars I had spent to reserve a rental. Their customer service is not helpful either. I spent 30 minutes on hold, trying to get in touch w/ someone who could help me get a reimbursement, just to be hung up on.

Reserved a truck months in advance only to have them cancel my reserved vehicle the day I was going to pick it up. Called this location and the service was horrible. Called their main customer service number and nowhere in the City of Cincinnati could they give me a truck; even if I drove to another location and picked it up myself. They acted like they could care less because they know these vehicles are in demand. Never again will I ever rent a vehicle from Hertz. The worst rental car agency hands down.

Had to show my reservation price compared to what I was initially being charged - saved me from being overcharged about $86. Vehicle was 2019 and had worn out shocks, body damage and needed oil change and battery replaced in key fob. All things that decided my 1star review. On the positive side: the two employees I interacted with were polite. The low rental price I received is what made me choose Hertz, but I recommend checking out other rentals for future customers.

Indoor signage is confusing, so I ended up wasting time going around to the back of the store looking for an attendant. Car was also dirty.

STAY AWAY!We reserved a car there only to be met at the door with a sign that said " We are closed today sorry for any inconvenience."So we were stuck there along with another customer who also had reserved. We did call the customer service # to get no resolution at all, then no calls, letters, smoke signals, nope nothing. Completely ruined our weekend trip.

The clerk was not friendly, I had to wait 45 minutes just to be added on as a driver, there is no parking there. The vehicle rented was totally out of windshield fluid with the warning light on. Which makes me wonder about the upkeep of their vehicles. The only upside is they have plenty of vehicles on the lot.

Horrible. The guy working there forgot to return my rental when I took it back. I was charged for 4 extra days. It has been 3 weeks and they still have not given me back my money.

Rented a car back in March. The two ladies at the front desk were rude for one. Here in June they took $106 out of my account and I haven’t been to them in 3 months. I tried calling and calling and now they won’t answer the phone. They told me they had one car for me to rent I show up and they gave me a completely different car.

Where should I start? Show up early for a reservation thinking it may help get all the paperwork done in a timely fashion. This place looks nearly vacant. I get turned away with a “come back at your appointment time. I’ll help you then.” So I leave, return at my appointment time, and now the guy just wants to chat instead of doing the paperwork. Buddy, I have a 7 hour trip to take like right now. I don’t care about your staffing issues. Oh, but then he pulls my credit score. You read that right…. He pulls my credit score. “I can’t rent to you, your score isn’t high enough,” and he hands me a little slip. Credit score is in the 700’s… yup, the 700’s. Not the 5’s or the 6’s, but in the 700’s. So you wasted my time driving here, then wasted my time leaving and coming back, then wasted my time chatting, then wouldn’t rent to me.Let’s NOT go….
