This is going to be a very honest review. I don't even bank with KeyBank but my husband has a credit card through them. Let's start with the bad and end with the excellent. The 1-800 customer service people suck. My husband was being hospitalized for some time and I called to pay the monthly amount. Even though I knew all my husband info, had the card in my hand, they would not take my payment, put on hold mulitple times, finally they speak to my husband, he tells them it's all good. 47 minutes later, after giving my ss#, BD & cell number, they let me make the payment and said no problem for next month. Next month (still suck), I would not allow me to make a payment & I only wasn't making a payment I was paying it off of a couple thousand. 45 minutes later, I hang up on 1-800 #, drive to this branch and walk-in the lobby and just say "ok can someone please just take my money? I'm sorry but your 1-800 # sucks and all I want to do is give you money? NOW EXCELLENT PART: Tonia Plair came out from behind her desk and goes up to the front counter and so friendly and accoumidating as if I was at her house stopping by for coffee, and took care of everything and even made me laugh during a time my husband was very bad and was a tough day for me. Love this woman, needs a promotion or a raise, both would suffice as well! 3rd time to make payment, can't find Tonia's card, call branch. Carson Vrzal picks up. I had to take him back to a far away land of one month earlier. Excellent customer service again, great attitude and sense of humor, gave me the payment info and all end with my world a better place today! He saved me the the 1-800-suck customer service team - if that's what you call a team because it takes - "Individual commitment to a group effort - that is what makes a team work, a company work, a civilization work" - Vince Lombardi once quoted. Tonia, Carson and the inside team at this branch are the 1-800 # chaos coordinators, and they rock in my eyes!

I’ve had problems with banks in the past but since I started using Key I have been very happy. They know me by name when I walk in and are always ready to help in any situation. The tellers at the Fairfield location go above and beyond.

Over draft fees crazy .they will have your hold check . If you don't check your account no protection for you ...but they will get theirs .. I'm about to close my account

Never in my life have delt with a group of people that were unwilling to help me with overdraft fees that had not even been overdrafted for 24 hours!! 3 fees I was overdrafted for but ended up calling the 1800 number and they quickly helped me get my money back. Poor customer service inside and on the phone but 1800 number helped me get my account back on track. This is suppose to be my bank I've been with for 2 years and never had an issue with until now and they show their true colors and show just how rude unwilling to help they are.

this bank will steal your money. I made an online purchase so they deducted the amount from my available balance, and put it on hold while pending.. wen the item ships, then the merchant gets the money from the bank account.. well, I had to cancel part of the order..I never got the money credited back to my available balance..then, wen the remaining item shipped, they showed the deduction, but also took down my available balance AGAIN!.. in stead of taking it out of wat they

Opened a new account and was satisfied at first until I was first charged an overdraft fee for being .91 overdrawn the same night my direct deposit went in. Got that refunded then was charged another overdraft fee for making a deposit 15 min after 7 p.m. the night an item went through. When I talked to the lady that opened the account for me I told her I would be closing the account due to overdrafts being charged so quickly and she said "OK" and hung up on me! Terrible customer service and terrible policies. Went back to Chase Bank and have not had a problem since!

Someone recommended this bank to me so I guess not everyone feels the way I do. But this place has some serious BS fee they wouldn't waive. I don't know why they felt the need to leech off me. So I closed my account.
