2025 update: So I avoided this store for year but I was in town and aldi didn't have what I needed... Stop letting your employees take parking spaces close to the store and not let people smoke in front of the store. I happen to be allergic and I walked past 2 employees smoking. Also your prices are 3x that of Walmart..I was going to get a 3 oz lotion for travel. It was $8 at your store. I just looked online at walmart.com and it is $3. Employee got snippy with some guy at self checkout having issues. She told him he should back up three feet so she doesn't get sick. You can also tell your employees that if they're not wearing their mask over their nose, it's not going to protect them.

Their click list dept sucks. They never have your order ready on time. I scheduled my pick up a DAY in advance, then come 450 the next day my order was still delayed by an hour. They never answer their phone if you have concerns. Horrible time management for customer orders. If I could rate a "0" I would.

Lady working the front counter at customer service is unbelievably rude. It's Friday at 9:45 am. Couldn't see the name tag because it was behind the sweater. Rude right away as soon as I came up to the counter.

Staff was pretty rude. Young man in trenchcoat yelled at me and a few others to “Check out, Now!” Despite walking towards register and us not doing anything wrong. Not to mention countless boxes of stock that has yet to be put on shelves.

Just about every time I go to this Kroger store I am disappointed. Almost every time without fail, they don't have the simplest item I am shopping for. I am tired of seeing little blue stickers say "sorry for the inconvenience this item is not available". This store is close to my home, so I stop there for a quick item grab. But as usual they don't have what I am looking for. So to avoid being pissed every time, I drive 15-20 min out of my way to a store that is always stocked. I know this is a first world problem, and people who don't drive or need a store close, this is helps them. But damn Kroger take some pride in your store. What I have read from other reviews, seems like management could care less.

I have been a regular shopper at the Kroger Fairfield location for quite some time, and it has become increasingly evident that the store is falling short in several key areas. My recent experiences have been disappointing, and I feel compelled to share my concerns in the hopes that Kroger will take heed and improve.
One of the main issues I have encountered is the inconsistency between online inventory orders and what is available in-store at same day pick up. Many times, I have placed online orders only to be notified that items are out of stock, only to find that they are, in fact, readily available when I visit the store. I highly doubt a truck just came and they were restocked before my pick up times
This lack of alignment creates unnecessary frustration and undermines the convenience that online shopping is supposed to provide.
Cake orders have also been a significant source of disappointment. I have experienced multiple occasions where my cake orders were not only out of stock (always shown available online) but also substituted with items that were clearly not my original selection and look like they were completed by a second grader learning to cake decorate. I am still waiting from July 15th for a manger to return my call as one was not on duty during my pick up. This lack of attention to detail is bothersome, especially when it comes to special occasions where a specific item was requested and a disaster was provided instead.
Another major issue at this location is the practice of stocking large pallets during peak shopping hours. It is not only inconvenient for shoppers but poses a severe challenge for those with disabilities. Navigating through the aisles becomes nearly impossible, creating a frustrating shopping experience. When I approached staff for assistance, I was met with the disappointing attitude that helping customers was "not their job." This lack of customer service is unacceptable, especially for a grocery store that serves a diverse community.
While I understand that stocking is necessary for grocery operations, Kroger has a third shift for this very reason, and it seems logical to utilize that service to avoid clutter during busy hours. Customers should be able to shop freely without the added obstacle of pallets blocking aisles.
I sincerely hope Kroger begins to take these complaints seriously. Shopping should be a positive experience, and I believe that with a few adjustments—like better coordination between online and in-store stock, more attention to special orders, and improved customer service—we could see significant improvements. Until then, I am left feeling disappointed and hoping for a more fulfilling shopping experience in the future.

don't bother calling them because their shitty automated system doesn't do anything. once you get through to an actual person (after having to beg 3 times) expect to be put on hold for no reason as well

Good selection of groceries. Quick and friendly service. Only 4 stars because I've gotten some sub- par items in the produce section and deli dept. Quick checkouts.
