Delivery sub contractor for Fragile Pak. 1000% garbage.
I ordered white glove delivery for a 5 piece sectional, but the Star Delivery Team refused to unpack, take trash, or assemble furniturebeven after confirming a mistake was made on their paperwork and I should be receiving full delivery service.

For Truckers. If you are bribing a load from Durham nc where one piece is a tall wooden box, you can only be unloaded from dock 6. No matter what time the broker list the appt, they don’t open until 9 Am and they load their box trucks for deliveries first so expect to sit till 9:30-10 am to unload you. Don’t waste your clock arriving at 8 am because dispatcher will kill the clock for no reason. Had me scheduled for 8 am but couldn’t make it so changed to 10 am. Had to do a split to here and finish 2 hr part of split break. I don’t know if they allow overnight parking but it’s lots of space to sit plus it’s little to no options to park near by. If you can make it the night before can be a great spot to do a 10 hr break. Just don’t buy into the broker(Mega Corp) appt time. He wants you to seal load and send photo or charge you lots of money(scam) yet shipper doesn’t give seal nor and says it don’t need to be sealed. Just 4 pallets at 2700 pounds.
Ps customer goes to lunch at 12-1pm so if you get here then, you have to wait

So, Star Moving & Storage was able to amend. They did return and move the items that were left behind on the first try. And, this time, there were the appropriate amount of people to do the job and do it right. Also, less complaining. Still, not my favorite experience, but then again, when is moving fun?

FragilePak apparently contracted with these folks to deliver the dryer that was coming from a Brooklyn, NY warehouse. I did receive an email, phone call and text the day before with my 4 hour delivery time window. I did receive a telephone call from the driver that he would be there in 30 minutes....which he was. HOWEVER, (and I can't say where the damage occurred), when wheeling the box containing my dryer down the driveway to the garage, the box was clearly damaged on 2 sides. Knowing that I was supposed to inspect the appliance for damage, and refuse it if necessary, I was quick to cut open the box. 3 panels of the dryer are severely dented. When I told the driver that I wasn't going to accept the damaged unit he shrugged his shoulders and told me to contact the store I purchased it from. I know he was aware of the damage, as I saw him taking a photo of the shipping label and some of the damage! That truck was out of my driveway within 4 minutes of it pulling in, and I'm stuck arranging for return shipment. Like I said, it very well may have been damaged prior to them picking it up, but shouldn't they have refused it first?

Atrocious customer service. Promised delivery 12-4pm on a Saturday so I arranged my schedule to be home then. Someone called me at 11am to say they were 10 minutes away. When it passed 12pm and I heard nothing, I called. No answer, so I texted. The response I got was "Sorry...it had to be rescheduled for another day." No explanation and no one from the office or otherwise is answering the phone or reaching out.

Very unhappy with this company. I ordered my furniture through warehouse direct on April 2nd. Star was supposed to had contacted me by the 20th. No one ever did! Now granted I know that there is pandemic going on so I wasn't to pressed about the issue. I contacted a rep and they said that Star would call me on the 24th. They also said that they were no longer offering the white glove service. This meant that they wouldn't put together my couch, which is possibly why they haven't contacted me. Where was the communication from Star? Were they ever going to call me to explain. Needless to say I contacted Star directly to ask about my couch and the rep was very rude and unapologetic. I wouldn't use this company at all. As a matter of fact I'm going to call Warehouse direct to let them know what type of service Star offers. Horrible!
