On May 20, 2022 at approximately 6:30pm I went to the Fairlawn Home Depot store (4066 Medina Road - Fairlawn, OH 44333) to purchase 10 bags of mulch. There were 3 gentlemen standing in the Garden Center talking and told me to go to the cashier and pay for the mulch, then pull around to the back to pick it up. I went to the cashier but was told that I would have to load the mulch myself because there was no one available to load my mulch. For your information, I am a senior citizen lady who is not able to lift 10 bags of mulch. There was another elderly lady in line who told me she would try and help me load the mulch, but I refused because she was even older than myself. The store doesn't close until 10:00pm and my opinion is that this is unacceptable customer service. Also, this was the only reason I went to Home Depot to get mulch, therefore not only was this a wasted trip. but wasted gas at $4.45/gallon. The cashier told me to try coming back Saturday morning and there "should" be someone there to load my vehicle. Not acceptable !

Do not purchase large appliances from Home Depot. If the appliance ends being a lemon and happens after the fist 48 hours of delivery, you are we out of luck my friend. Home Depot will not help you at all and the manufacturer's they work with will not help either. $800 washing machine that was 2 days old has a bad circuit board and will not spin the water out of the cloths. I now have to look for a new washing machine and spend even more money. Home Depot, this is not the time to treat loyal customers badly.

Lately I don't know what's been going on at Home Depot. I have been visiting hardware stores on a pretty consistent basis lately. Like millions of other Americans that are working from home and noticing every single project that needs to be taken care of in their home. Sometimes it's been pretty busy and of course we have to dress ourselves with patience and understanding. This visit in particular the store was practically empty. After I went into search mode walking up and down the aisles getting my steps in, I felt that I needed help and a life line. So I looked for a Home Depot employee. I spotted one and politely walked close to her (6-feet distance) and asked her if she was available to help me. She looked at me at first as if I just landed from another planet and forcibly stated yes I can help. I was looking for furniture feet/stands. She had no idea, as she walked away I felt that she was going for help, she did not. So frustrated I just walked away and walked around some more. After a long while I found an employee on a short step ladder. I stated that she did not have to step down but if she could point the way. She took it upon herself to try to help. Because of this particular employee I gave them 3 stars instead of 1. Although I did not find what I needed, she definitely went the extra mile. Also just to clarify a woodworking store I had recently visited stated that Home Depot had items that could be used for my project. They do not, only on line.

They never have anything in the building / lumber area even when I called ahead as a contractor and the item I very specifically requested, was told it was there, arrived 10 minutes later to find it was incorrect , in bad condition or not even there.

This Home Depot do not have a requirement for mask. Observing from parking lot, I notice more than half the customers walk in without a mask. I'm leaving and staying away. And, "Encouraging customers to wear non-medical face masks at all Home Depot locations" does nothing because when the HD employee wear a mask, it protects the customer. But the store employee's safety is based upon customer's wearing a mask. Most do not. There is nothing funny about potentially causing the death of another.

Was sent to this Home Depot to get a rug that was on clearance in Cuyahoga falls. Get there to be told it isn’t on clearance there and they want me to pay almost $60 more. Ask to speak with the manager and she wouldn’t even come back to talk to us! I found her at the front door and her response was “how dare you make accusations that I wouldn’t come talk to you” accusations no, facts.. you were standing at the door when we walked in with another person, when I approached you

1 pm Friday 5/3 - looked around for several minutes for someone to help us. When I finally found someone she said she would find someone else to help us. She did not. I got back out to find someone. Finally I found two people strolling down the aisle chatting it up. Asked for help and they looked at me like I'm some kind of piece of crap. My mom began to ask questions about the purchase she was hoping to make, and the employee had a smart a** response to everything. Somebody needs to come to Fairlawn and train these folks. Desperately. Because these people are not functioning well.

Has what I need when I need it. Don't have any complaints. Can be a bit pricey for seemingly simple items, but I'm not there enough for it to matter yet.

The store inventory is very low and it is very low on staff. Asked for someone to page for help in the lumber area. Nobody showed up and after walking around for 15 minutes trying to find someone in the aisles, I gave up. I think the store is ready to go out of business. Unfortunate that it's gone this far downhill.

I went in specifically because your website said you had 11 bottles of the 32 oz. “Spray and Forget†on the shelf. You had ZERO. After spending 12 minutes walking back and forth with your employee between the shelf and his computer, the best he could tell me was “Well, that sucks!†In that, I agree!

I've been buying items for my new house to make it my own. On this trip, I exchanged incandescent light bulbs for LED's, bought a fan light switch, and bought some silicone caulk. All the employees were friendly and they had the items that I needed. With self checkout, my shopping was done in under 10 minutes. I have three Home Depot locations near home and I've been to all of them now. All three locations, including this one, are very good in terms of cleanliness, friendliness of staff, in stock condition, and checkout. I'm not sure if they could do anything better.

Would NOT buy carpet from this Home Depot. My carpet is literally delaminating in front of me. I have been in contact with the "customer service" person about this for over 8 months now. I have had to battle to have an independent inspector come out to inspect my carpet, then when that finally happened I had to go through months of headaches and 5 visits from installers (who would time after time show up at my door after I had to take a day off of work) only to tell me they didn't have the right equipment and leave. I repeatedly leave messages and never hear back from anyone. Please beware!!! It is crappy carpet and they do NOT back it with the warranty like they lead you to believe when you purchase it. Go somewhere else and save yourself a ton of headache and trouble!!!

Staff was helpful from the moment I entered the store. Rich was fast and efficient with my appliance selection. Bonnie rocked it as she corrected a difficult error in the transaction. They both deserve kudos.
