Needed help with gas line fittings and spent well over 20 minutes waiting in an aisle after having someone paged twice, finally gave up and just bought one of everything and I'll have to return what I don't need.Offering only grocery sized bags in a home improvement store is illogical.

I’ve had multiple bad experiences at this Home Depot but tonight was the last straw. I went in to purchase 3 replacement 5-gallon jugs of water for office water coolers. I didn’t see any on the shelf up front so I asked the cashier if they had anymore. She said that they did and rang me up for 3 of them. I had brought a gift card to the store that I received for my birthday, but left my wallet with my ID at home. No issues ringing me up, but when they went to go get more from the back, they realized they didn’t have anymore. The cashier tells me to go down to customer service to get a refund so I go down to the other side of the store and the eldest of 3 customer service ladies informs me she can’t give me my money back because I don’t have my ID. I ask her to talk to a manager and she refuses. Finally she tells me she’ll call a manager but “it’s not like they’re going to do anything”. Frustrated, I explain to the manager that the cashier lady told me she had at least 3 jugs of water left and rang me out, and now everyone is telling me that I’m just out of luck when it comes to getting my money back or getting replacement 5-gallon jugs of water. The manager tells me I’m out of luck - he turns the screen and shows me the “ID Required” notice. He was extremely short with me and tells me I’ll have to go home and get my ID and come back. I ask him how they’ll know that I’m still owed a refund if I can’t make it back tonight. He tells me that he’ll remember me if I come in a different day. Because I knew that if I didn’t go back tonight, there was no chance I was getting a refund, I ran home and got my ID and finally, an hour and a 1/2 later, got a refund. The attitudes from everyone in the customer service department as well as the manager were really disheartening. I was literally just a paying customer trying to patronize your store, you guys took my money, said you were out of the item you just confirmed you had, gave me a run-around for 40 minutes until I just decided to ran home and get my Id and then audibly laughed at me while leaving the customer service area. Do better guys. I shouldn’t have to leave your store (2 times for that matter) to produce an ID for you to give me my money back for a problem that originated from your own cashier.

An older man named Eric helped my friend and I get some wood cut so it could fit in the vehicle. He was very nice and very helpful to us. He moved fast and efficiently.

Love this store but only downside is you can't get close to store to load bulk items because loading zone always filled with people too lazy to walk across parking lit for small items

Wendy needs a raise! She was sooo very helpful in helping me rent the pressure washer and even went above and beyond her duties to call customer service to help me understand how to use it. She even helped me look for the cheapest water hose once I told her I didn’t have one in which I thought the pressure washer came with one. The other employees at the door and in the garden area all kept referring me to buy a pressure washer in which I kept explaining I only wanted to rent one. Another employee even told me you guys don’t have any for rent only for sale. I would suggest updating them on things you have for rent vs sale since they are not aware and are turning potential customers away due to their lack of knowledge.

Tried to set up a pro desk order. Bounced around. Hung up on me. Called back. Asked for a manager, very brief conversation. She doesn't want my business. Obviously being hung up on before I could even ask a few questions should have been my sign to not call back.Great reminder on why Lowe's is better.
