Lovely, cozy, and humble yoga studio. They practice catering yoga to the real people, not the glamorous ones. Emi's Restorative Class on Wednesdays is so good. She's authentic, attentive, informative, and talented. It is so relaxing midweek and HIGHLY peaceful for mind, body & spirit!

Great experience, great vibe, classes are challenging but also spiritual. giving the practice a wholeness that you wont get from a "hot and heavy" yoga class for the masses feel. The culture is kind, honest, and welcoming. This is a great place to become part of the community and live. Namaste~

I wish this would let me give 10 stars! I've been to several different yoga studios, and have not found one that even comes close to Lifesource! It is by far the most professional, friendliest, and warmest yoga atmosphere around. The owner, Diane, is both a phenomenal woman, and business owner, in every way. The instructors at Lifesource are amazing! Truly the very best - no contest!! And I like that this studio offers such a great variety of classes, levels, and styles. I've been practicing here for 4 1/2 years, and it has been a truly transformational journey.

Excellent studio, though the soft-ish flooring is kind of odd. Also have never been in a studio where it seemed acceptable for people to come in a few minutes late for a session. But they have great instructors, ample props including very nice bolsters, a clean restroom big enough to change in, and ample parking too. Definitely will be back -- not taking points off for the floor since that's a very personal viewpoint, and not taking points off for the staff letting people come in late since it's a little annoying but not worth complaining too loudly about (forgive yourself and others, right?). (Also would be good for them to have an electronic sign-in process when arriving, but again, these are all very minor complaints and I will absolutely return here. Stacy in particular was an excellent instructor. My only other suggestion would be for them to incorporate more pranayama and mindfulness meditation (for example, I like when instructors advise setting an intention at the beginning of the session, or positive affirmations, or speaking about the value of letting go... all would make nice additions to their classes, unless you prefer more functional and less spiritual/thoughtful yoga practice).

I found Lifesource Yoga through Google Maps reviews in January while staying in the area for work and it has been great! (Especially being able to borrow a mat) I've taken both the basic and vinyasa classes which are both awesome, restorative and challenging. I really like the varying levels of students in the class, all very friendly. The studio is in the basement so when you walk in you go straight down and are taken to a peaceful and zen zone. Kim was extremely friendly, took me on a tour and explained the studio's policies. Thanks so much for your yoga service!!

Great studio with an incredibly accommodating owner and staff. Lifesource has an inclusive, non-competitive energy that is great for beginners and experienced yogis alike. A true Akron gem.

I grew up in Akron, OH and I found Lifesource yoga a few months before I moved. I moved out of town to Toledo, OH 3 years ago. When I am home on vacations or during holidays, I get so excited to go back! Kim is one of my favorite instructors, she is absolutely incredible! I currently teach yoga in Toledo, but to continue my own practice, I have searched FAR and WIDE to find a different yoga studio that can challenge me like Lifesource Yoga can. I have not found a yoga studio that has them beat yet... and believe me, I've tried upwards of 15-20 various yoga studios and have been practicing yoga for 7 years now. You NEED to check out Lifesource Yoga, you will not be disappointed!
